Well designed and engineered.
Bought it a week ago. Set up was easy. I used the enclosed instruction sheet and the screen vs. downloading the app. Filling the ink tanks was simple. Internet connection connection was also easy. A suggestion to Epson on the instructions. Step 3.10 - add "Use the arrow buttons and OK button". Also numbering the pages would help. It's a bifold sheet, thus 4 pages. The front is the first sheet, the back is the second sheet, the other two are the inside sheets. A bit confusing without numbers.

Easy set up, great print quality, nozzles have stayed clean for almost a year now, ink usage is better than past printers.

Great printer!
This printer is just the right size and like the fact ink lasts longer than typical ink jet. I gave the 5 stars but would have loved for you to have the printer options on the print pop up on computer rather than having to scroll thru on the small screen on printer but it is user friendly and so it's just a different way of getting to options. Still a great purchase and product thus far.

Epson software makes things easy!
It's only been in use for a couple of days but I've scanned many of the old photos I had around. The software is really good. I can place up to 8 photos on the bed at once, the software identifies them individually and when the scan is complete you have 8 separate files that you click straight into your dropbox. Epson really put a lot of thought into what they've put together here, from the packaging to the setup process. The ink reservoir delivery system is brilliant. Pound for pound the best I've seen.

A Challenge to Get The Printer Running-- But Works well
Set up was not as easy as described as I was also getting used to a new computer at the same time. I mistakenly purchased an app I did not need... but figured out I didn't need it and got a refund. The directions are not as clear as they should be... I waited for an hour for the ink to activate only to realize it had not been activating... turned off the printer, unplugged, and plugged in again, It worked that time around. Computer was not finding printer and printer wasn't finding network... unfortunately installation for me took hours.... but it is running very well now, thankfully.

Great and cost effective printer for homeschooling material
I bought this to print homeschool materials. When I tried to print from my phone it was sooooo slow...but I discovered that was because I didn't have much free space on my phone. It was faster with my husbands phone and computer. After printing about 200 pages or so, it seems to start getting some lines in the more solid color blocks. I clean the tips and realign if necessary and that usually fixes it. I have done one power cleaning but probably won't do that again as it uses so much ink. Otherwise it prints great. Color and cost were my main concerns and this printer resolves both of those issues. I usually print double sided on 24 lb paper and haven't had any issues at all with jamming.

Horrific WiFi set up won't work
This product prints adequately enough. However, the WiFi setup is clunky, burdensome, and at this point, impossible! I had to change my wifi settings on my router and start a new network. But, first, the printer does not recognize the network as it did with the first set up. I tried setting up again via my phone. Couldn't do it. I tried setting up on the microscopic printer window - and even typed in the network and the password - assuring that they were exactly correct. But, it still would not connect. I have zero use for a printer that cannot connect via WiFi! This is absurdly bad. Absolute waste.

Easy setup. Wi-fi and Remote printing are a Breeze. Quality
Fairly easy setup. I used the suggested Epson app on my Android phone to complete the setup. Following the setup steps and installing ink was very easy. Just connect the key/spout on the bottle to the tank/reservoir input. When it's full, it stops flowing and you pull it off. Very easy and no spills. Setting up wi-fi and printing from a network computer or from a phone that isn't connected to the network is very easy. The app and software allow easy manipulation of print settings. Does a great job of daily printing needs and prints nice quality pictures, even on normal printer paper. Happy I purchased this printer and so glad I'm no longer subjected to over priced print cartridges.

Does a good job
Plan on taking 45 minutes to complete installation. Ink is easy to load up. Not messy at all. The print quality is good. Communication between our computers and the printer is efficient. Not built as solid as my old printer but this is how cost cutting engineering has worked at all tech companies. I would recommend the product.

Very happy with the Epson et2850. It works as advertised. Wifi printing is easy, the Epson app for phone is very easy to use. The print quality is good for daily home office and school use. Ink tanks are giving good results and print volume. I recommend

Easy Set-Up
The app to set-up the printer was very user friendly. It has step by steps instructions with pictures and allows you to take your time to complete each step. When you are ready for the next step it gives you the option to click on yes, ready for next step. It is so wonderful! Plus you can print up thousands and thousands of copies before running out of ink!

Perfect for small home office
The Epson EcoTank ET-2850 Printer is compact and lightweight. It doesn’t take up much space so it’s perfect for small home office. It was very easy to set up the printer with the QR code, which was provided on both instructions and printer screen. It took about 15 minutes and it was frustration-free. Filling up ink was quick and easy. I appreciate that the ink bottles were vacuum sealed so there is no chance of the ink leaking during delivery. My husband and I both love being able to see the amount of ink. Once set up was completed, I was notified on my phone. Also, it was a breeze to link the printer to my wifi in the app.
The printing speed is fast and printing double sided documents did not jam the printer. There is no need to flip the page manually. It is great for someone who has no patience. Jammed paper was an recurring issue with my old printer so I definitely like that I can print double sided documents without fear.
Overall, it is perfect for basic home printing and I would recommend it to others.
