EF-11: Bang for your buck with no rainbow effect
EF-11 hits the sweet spot! Epson really nailed it with the features and price point of this one. Best home projector to use as a dedicated display in a light-controlled room hands down. I can't stop recommending it.

Great compact laser projector
This is one of the lightest and brightest projector in the market. It is only 2.7 lbs but provides real 1000 ANSI lumens, which is plenty bright for a 100 inch screen. Because it is laser it cools down very quickly and also starts up rapidly.

Amazing little projector!
The solid state laser and 3 chip DLP design is an absolute WINNER! I am mesmerized by the overall image quality, low power consumption, brightness and small form factor of this projector. This little box produces amazing color and sharpness in a dark room. Projecting on a plain wall still produces excellent results. There is still enough brightness that it can still be used for presentations with decent results in a room with ambient light.
Short throw is fantastic for projecting in tight spaces. There is also a threaded mount (1/4-20) on the bottom that allows mounting on a tripod for further flexibility of location. There is no optical zoom but you can make use of a digital zoom feature to make the image size smaller for situations where you cannot adjust the projector location.
USB Slideshow mode is a nice feature for standalone projection at a party or other gathering.
Minor Complaints:
Needs a streaming device or computer. Support Miracast but would also love to see if it support AirPlay
Built in speaker is weak and no built-in bluetooth out feature
USB mode is very limited. You can put movies on a thumb drive but it does not support MPEG-4. Only AVI at resolution at 720p or less
Does not work with the Epson projector app
All projector adjustments are made from the remote. Misplace the remote and you are SOL until you order a new one.
The EF-11 was not intended to be a standalone device and the EF-12 does solve the connectivity issues but reportedly that projector has significantly more input lag / latency due to the android OS overhead. Unofficial reports put the input lag for the EF11 at 50ms compared to 120ms for the the EF12. Neither are fantastic but the EF11 is at least acceptable for casual gaming. I went with the EF11 because I would primarily be using an AppleTV streaming box and a battery powered bluetooth speaker. Serious gamers may want to look at the BenQ X1300i projector. At twice the cost, more than 2x the physical size and 3x the power consumption that projector was not for me. For my use, power consumption and small size are more important than optimizing for gaming.
For my use, connecting the EF11 to an Apple TV alleviates all of the connectivity issues. I can use AirPlay, Stream from any service (Plex, Netflix, YoutubeTV, etc) and connect audio to a portable bluetooth speaker or headphones when traveling or my HomePods when at home. It does add some bulk and additional cabling but still very manageable. For more portability, I may use a Raspberry Pi or my iPhone (with a lightning to HDMI cable) to connect directly to the projector.
One of my main goals for the projector is for an outdoor movie theater when traveling. For additional portability I have a Jackery Explorer 300 which was inexpensive and provides plenty of power for an evening. The EF11 manual states 100w consumption. In practice, when I use my Apple TV and the EF11 I am consuming 72Watts which allows for ~4hrs of continual use with the Jackery 300.
Despite my original intent, I will be using this projector as much while at home as I do when traveling.

Excellent Picture Quality!
This Epson projector is a great little machine. When it arrived I was so excited I immediately took it out of the box to set it up. Set up was an absolute breeze and the instructions were very thorough. I was able to quickly set everything up to start watching videos.
This projector is great for the office or for at home videos. The picture quality is phenomenal. I was astounded at how clear the picture was. I’ve owned several other small projectors, but this one takes the cake. Best picture quality and easy set up.
I truly believe this is an exceptional projector and highly recommend it.

This projector is the best thing I have used to date I had a older one that was blurry and did not offer any features but this on the other hand is crystal clear it was easy to set up and the picture gets huge 150" to be exact out of box you receive the projector a power block and a remote with batteries included along with a quick setup guide in multiple languages easy setup and crystal clear projection the only con I would say about this projector is it runs pretty hot I'm assuming from the electric it draws from the power block but it does get hot to the touch I would worry about it if using for a prolonged time but if you intend to just watcha movie here or there it should be fine I would just recommend unplugging when finished using “This is a review for the Epson EF-11 Laser Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Awesome compact laser projector
This is a review for the Epson EF-11 Laser Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
I have had a few different projectors. The first two thoughts that popped in my mind during set up were (1) how compact and lightweight the projector is and (2) the stunning image quality.
Pros
The setup took less than 2 minutes.
Pairing a phone or connecting the HDMI was smooth and quick.
The video and image qualities are extremely sharp, even from afar.
Adequate HD audio quality which is surprising for a small projector.
Does not generate extreme heat like my old projectors.
For a lightweight projector, constructions seem high quality.
Cons
I mistakenly inserted 128 GB USB Drive for my test, which seems to be too much for this projector. A lesser capacity USB Drive worked fine. So this does not concern me.
We watched a few movies and videos with popcorn and loved it.

Good Value Projector
This projector lives up to expectations as a true native, good all-around 1080p projector! Setup was simple with an appropriate level of packaging, nice design, and intuitive buttons. Port selection was limited, but truthfully with hdmi, it basically covered all of my devices except my newest USB-c only laptop. On initial startup (and even after running it for a few hours), one great thing I noticed is that the projector is super quiet and doesn't get super hot. This is a problem I've had in the past with previous projectors but I haven't had any issues with this Epson! In regards to image quality, it has great calibration right out the box and things just Pop! The colors are great, the quality is as described, brightness and deep blacks are excellent on even 100+ inch screens. Also the projector has low input lag making it excellent for gaming!
Overall, this projector suits my needs well. The picture quality is fantastic for the price. I use it to watch TV and movies both indoors and outdoors and it so far has consistently worked great! I've used PC, game console, Roku, and chromecast inputs so far and have had no issues. In terms of audio, I'm so glad it has a built-in speaker! Although it certainly could be louder and of better quality, seeing it have one at all is great. I do use an external speaker for movies using the aux plug sometimes, but it's definitely not necessary. Overall, you can’t beat the price for the quality, especially from such a trusted brand. If you are expecting to watch TV and movies in the middle of the day or even use the projector as a monitor, this project works perfectly! Would recommend!

Great for movie nights!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried to use a projector before, but it didn't have sound included and couldn't figure out how to get the sound connected on my devices. This little projector is incredible and so user friendly. First off, the size is extremely compact so it takes up minimal space. The box includes the projector, power cord, remote, remote batteries, and manual. Set up is very easy, simply plug in and turn on the power button. There's an HDMI port, AUX port, and standard USB A port. You can plug multiple devices in to play media. I personally use a fire stick as its easy to connect and minimal space. One great feature is that the projector remote also works to navigate my fire stick menu.
One of my favorite features is that this projector includes speakers so you don't need a secondary option for sound. The speakers are pretty powerful as well, we don't need to even use the max sound option.
Obviously projectors work best with a background, but we just used it on our wall in my apartment. The picture is vibrant and easy to see.
Overall, this is a great option for projectors. It's small and compact but doesn't lack in quality. The best part is that it has included speakers.

Fun to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just found out that I will be a grandfather this year. After much thought, I have decided that I will be that cool grandpa that camps in the backyard and watches cartoon movies over and over again with my grandson. I just tried out my EpicVision mini EF11 and the picture quality, at night, on a sheet, looks amazing and the sound is great! I love the fact that I can connect my android to the projector and watch movies up to 150"... right now we are watching up to about 80" and it is easy to level, set up and get it working. Can't wait for our first-night camping and watching cartoon movies with my grandson! EpicVision is making family time important again, with high-quality products that are affordable!

Epic Laser Projector!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Epson Mini Laser projector has proven to be the best, most efficient and high quality projector i have ever owned. Its greatest quality is the small size of the projector which allows easy setup and makes this projector extremely portable. Although small in size do not be fooled, the picture quality is topnotch allowing you and your family to have high quality entertainment at your finger tip at all times.The built in HDMI and USB inputs allow you to plug in any device such as firestick, hulu, or AppleTV and begin viewing high quality picture. I love how easy it is to use and the fact that it has built in speakers which allows me to take this small portable unit outback and easily watch the game as I BBQ and spend time with family. I would definitely recommend this product.

Such great quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We set up the Epson EpiqVision Mini EF11 Laser projector in my bedroom last night for the first time and we love it! We used it to play the nintendo switch and projected onto my bedroom wall. The quality was amazing. The picture was crisp and we were able to project the image across the entire wall. We love it!

Amazing picture quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I was somewhat surprised that this projector didn’t include a HDMI cord so you’ll definitely need to purchase one to set this up.
Setup is basic and simple. You simply connect the HDMI cord to the projector and to your device (tablet, computer, etc,). Plug it in to the wall and you’re ready to go. The unit (projector) can sit on any flat surface or a tripod. I streamed from my laptop and opened up Amazon Prime and was able to enjoy watching movies and had it projected towards the ceiling as my wife has too many things on the walls to project it on there. The screen size is relatively huge and the picture is very clear and sharp. Now this projector has a built in speaker and I guess I assumed it would have more of a theater effect. The speaker sounds as if it was coming from the tv and wasn’t something that blew me away but is good enough for me.
The remote control for this projector is simple and basic to use (batteries are included). It’s just your basic buttons-volume, rewind, fast forward, mute, etc. and is so easy that my kids understand it.
We had originally tried to hook this up to my tv with hopes of watching live tv (NASCAR, NFL, etc.) but unfortunately we couldn’t figure it out or if it’s even possible but it’s not that important as we’ll definitely enjoy using this for movie nights at our house. I like the simplicity of this projector with excellent picture quality and is a product that my family and I will enjoy very much.

Great? Nah, it's magnificent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Epson EpiqVision EF11 is most magnificent Laser projector I have ever tried. I used many Epson projectors, they all have their cons and pros. But this? Epson Epiq is awesome. Not only the superb quality that Epson always delivers but also the size have impressed me. Never have I seen such a terrific quality projector in such a small size. Output is great, the further away and bigger the projection screen the better is the quality. Fan is very quiet, the output speakers on Epson is plenty loud. It does come with HDMI and usb ports for pc and usbs but I much prefer and liked the function that it has MirrorCast which I am able to project my whole phone on the screen, no lag, no bugging out whatsoever. The sheer size of this projector is great for travels, especially for camps, just grab a small generator for the power. Pitched the idea of implementing this kind of projectors to my school work place and they are looking into it. Highly recommend it just because of quality and size alone.

Love the picture!
i got the projector a few weeks ago. i love the picture and the portability. my only wish is that it had a more powerful speaker. i ended up buying a external speaker to use with the unit which increased the overall bulk.

Great picture and features

Everything about it is easy to use, the internal speakers were better than expected, I only wish it offered blue tooth audio output or an alternative to just the audio Jack.
