Incredibly unsafe but does it's job
I wanted a metal carafe. This is metal but it is single wall so it gets boiling hot on the outside. Also it is not filed smooth on the inside so it can cut you pretty easily while washing. I also noticed today after maybe 6 uses that it is doing some weird clicking after it has finished boiling like it is trying to click back on. I unplugged it. It was extremely cheap or I'd give even less stars. It does boil water just fine.
