Hi Ron - this is a 46,000 BTU unit. It is designed for outdoor use and will withstand occasional exposure to light precipitation, but for best longevity and to preserve functionality and appearance, we recommend storing it indoors, under an overhang, and/or covered by a weather-resistant cover when not in use.
