Dishwasher single drawer for Motorhome
Just replaced our fisher paykel drawer dishwasher in our 2010 Itasca Ellipse 42 AD Motorhome, the 2010 washer model was over 14 years old never had any issues, was winterized and cleaned yearly. My wife loves the 2023 model, a little deeper and quieter. She loves doing dishes.

Great dishwashers
i love our new Fisher & Paykel drawer dishwashers. We replaced two 20-year old Fisher Paykel drawer dishwashers with two new ones. They are quieter and do a great job. I was very impressed that they are exactly the same size so they fit well into the spaces left by the old dishwashers. Having two single drawer dishwashers enables me to load and unload without bending--so much easier on my back! My only complaint is that it is difficult to load heavy glasses because the tines fold on the side where glasses are recommended and the glasses tend to pull the tines down. And the rack on that side is slanted which makes it difficult to load glasses. Otherwise they are perfect and I hope they prove to be as durable and reliable as the ones they replaced!

Best idea ever - FP dishwasher drawers
Love these dishwashers. They are very quiet and fast. We just replaced our first set after 20 years.
We have an upper drawer on each side of our sink. Very handy. We do pre-rinse our dishes and use the fast cycle. 47 minutes. Our first set was done in 38 as we skipped the dry cycle.

Best appliance purchase I've ever made
I hated my old dishwasher, but still wanted to have one. I came across Fisher & Paykel searching for a solution. I have back issues that are getting worse. The low bending & reaching in the dishwasher & my older refridgerator was becoming too painful. I host holiday dinners so a dishwasher was still a requirement in my remodel. I had to wait 3 months for it (backordered), but its SO worth it.
I mounted it at the top of my former dishwasher opening & built a large drawer below it. Easiest install, ever.
No bending, easy loading & unloading.
Can you be in love with an appliance? I am.

Perfect for the RV!
We have this in our RV and love it! First and foremost it does a fantastic job of cleaning. Never had to rewash anything. Secondly it is quiet which is greatly appreciated. Finally, it uses very little water which is important in an RV. We highly recommend this dishwasher!

Initially skeptical
This unit replaced a discontinued GE under sink model. This unit is much quieter and does a good job although the run time is quite a bit longer. The washer action seems less vigorous, and because of that loading the unit takes more attention to detail. Also, rinsing dishes before loading them seems advisable in order that they are all adequately cleaned. I am an old man now living alone and for me the unit adequately handles a full day’s dirty dishes.

I love the style and easy access. It would be nice if it had a deeper drawer in order to have cups and glasses in a larger space, the plates I have which are a large width wise, would fit better. I have two drawers, so I am using one for pots and pans, cups. The cleaning is excellent, I use pods. The other for plates at this time. Also, the only negative I have it does not always completely dry the dishes no matter which setting I use.

Love drawer dishwasher!
Only two issues that I have with this model: first is the moveable racks inside kept falling apart and second is I like a shallow handle of some type to hang dish towel on for convenience of wiping off any remaining water from dishes. I never figured out a way to make the racks stay securely attached so I finally just removed them. My absolute favorite things are the quick wash cycle and the silent operation!

Second time we bought FISHER PYKEL.
I bought my first pair of Drawer Dishwashers in 2005. They finally died. Bought new 2022 models of the drawerdishwasher. Do not like the racks and separators. they are plastic and feel very flimsy.
WIth our old 2005 models we would use the washer Eco dry and the regular wash. Now the same choice takes 120 minutes. (energy efficient--not very).
BUT I have to admit the washed dishes and glasses are truly sparkling. I like the drawer versus full size. We stay with Fisher Pykel. Also the new washers are very quiet. We like that.

I like the convenience of having these drawers up high (I bought 2 of them to go on either side of my sink). However, not much fits in each drawer. The slats for the dishes are very narrow so if you have dishes that are thicker this will not work. They do not do a great job of washing the dishes either and you are very limited in cycles. If I want clean dishes I have to put it on the heavy duty cycle each time.

Getting less for more$$$
This is the 5th Fisher & Paykel Drawer Dishwasher purchase for us in our home. We have 2, so technically, by alternating their usage, they should last longer, but not the case. We are limited to using these due to sizing that would otherwise require major carpentry to change to a full size unit. Each unit had performance issues, in spite of cleaning and maintaining them regularly per instructions. The newest unit replaced the previous one which had complete gasket deterioration and failure and as a result, though the unit went through cleaning cycles, resulted in uncleaned dishes. The newest unit is very cheaply constructed, everything inside is downsized, so small bowls fall off the top fold down racks due to insufficient width; the utensil basket is a joke, with the holes too small to fit a table knife loaded up or down; the fold down rack no longer slides up and down to adjust for different heights, etc. Overall, the unit now also calls for increased and more frequent maintenance, all of the above of course coming in at a significant price increase. Very disappointing.

Size does matter
The dishwasher cleans well enough and it operates quietly. It's just too small. My dishes do not fit well in the rack configuration. I have changed the configuration, but it didn't make much of a difference. I do use it and I'm trying to work with it.

Disappointed in product and service quality
Dishwasher stopped working after about 15 loads due to defective part Repair process was very good was workman was several hours outside the extremely wide 5hr repair window. then he didn’t have the parts despite knowing what the problem was ahead of time. He effectively wasted 1.5 days of my time and cost me 2x the repair cost due to lost comp vs if I used a local repairman
Additionally the dishwasher doesn’t do a great job cleaning plates and leaves a significant amount water on the dishes when done

Drawer Dishwashers malfunction s.
My dishwasher drawers are not working properly. The first one is accumulating foul smelling water every time I use my kitchen faucet and my garbage disposal, water goes in the dishwasher. The other one stops running when it reaches the rinse cycle.
