FOTILE's Pixie Air UQS3001 is a new entry into the Under Cabinet Range Hood category for FOTILE. This sleek, ultra-slim line range hood not only blends seamlessly into your kitchen due to its low profile, but its performance is more powerful than other range hoods that are twice its size thanks to its WhisPower Motor and Capture-Shield technologies. The Pixie Air removes Smoke, Steam, and Grease effortlessly with very little background noise. The stainless steel design is classic, and will match your other appliances in your kitchen. The Pixie Air Series, incorporates technologies that not only make it efficient for new Local CFM zoning laws, but also keeps your family safe at night with its Air Management Control System that monitors the air for harmful gases or noxious fumes. If it detects any, it will automatically turn on the fan and vent it out of the house. The Pixie Air is a perfect balance of Design, Safety, and Performance.

- Combi-Vent: Flexible installation with direct venting or recirculatory venting as an accessory.
- WhisPower Technology: Maximises the CFM power of your range hood due to filterless technology and comfortable working sound.
- Due to our WhisPower Technology, FOTILE is able to capture a higher CFM than actually published by excelerating smoke and grease extraction with our Capture Shield Technology. Air speed and power are increased as we capture smoke and grease in the Golden Collection Zone and pass it through our centrifugal WhisPower motors.
- An Intelligent Air Management System monitors the kitchen's air for noxious fumes or gasses and if detected, the range hood will automatically turn on and vent out of the house. Once the monitoring system senses clean air, it will automatically shut off the range hood.
- The WhisPower motor with filter-less Technology and Captur-Shield extraction, can achieve a maximum power of 800 CFMs with the UQS3001
- Control the Pixie Air through a soft touch control panel where you can select among 3 fan speeds based on the level of cooking smoke, or turn on your LED lights to light up your cooktop surface

Always the best
I have been using range hood from Fotile since I brought my first house 6 years ago. Asian cuisine always involve stir frying and deep fried. Without a goof range hood, the smell would linger a long time. Fotile range hood is by far the best one I have ever used and always go back to when I buy new houses.

Very quiet Range Hood with the above average performance of the recirculation filter box
I am writing this review of UQS3001 Pixie Air range hood with re-circulation box installed one month ago, here are my review of the performance of the combination:
1. Very quiet fan operation, the quietest one as I knew. Even at the maximum fan speed, the noise is quite bearable, we only used the low and medium speed settings for our daily cooking needs and felt very comfortable to have lengthy conversation in the kitchen.
2. The re-circulation box is installed right above the hood and hiding inside the overhead cabin, we have 15" height cabin which the box barely can be fitted in and also cut two six inches diameter holes at the top plate of cabin to let the air exhaust out. The performance is better than our previous range hood but the cooking fume still can be smelled with lot less scale. However, I do not think the fume can be totally eliminated with any re-circulation range hood in the market.
3. Two shield plates can easily be removed from the hood and we just put them in the dishwasher once in every two weeks, it seems working well.
The bottom line is that we like the unit and keep enjoying our cooking.

Hesitation not required
This vent is amazing… honestly. I waited 2 years to buy one because I refused to spend this much on a vent hood however, I needed one that was recirculating. Nothing on the market can compare to this and I wish I bit the bullet the first time I dumped 250 into an inferior product.

Great performance
Had for 6mo and would definitely recommend. I decided after several weeks of product reviews. The factors that made this the right choice: quietest per air volume, warranty, build quality and performance. The 800cfm really can vent smoke in a hurry. The 2 washable air filters/diverters do a great job of drawing the air back and out from front burners. I am very happy with the range hood from Fotile

Elegant design and works well
Have used this for a month, It’s been working patently, suction is great and noise is low. This is lower end model, so the control is not that smart. Just a small suggestion, I hope it was programmed to turn on the fan or light but just clicking the button without pressing the power on first.

Works great! Love the look.
Was a bit tricky to install. Definitely recommend support braces while you connect screws and such. Ultimately, it works exactly as intended and has great lights to illuminate the cooking area when needed. Also, considerably quieter than I was expecting (granted my noisy old microwave fans were so bad I probably would have been happy it didn't sound like a plane landing in my kitchen). Still, it is very quiet. Easily had phone conversations while cooking with fan on.

Works great, but had to do a little extra work.
Works great. Only problem I had was that when I ordered, I was paying close attention to the direction of the vent on the description. I was very specific about ordering a rear exhaust fan. When I received the shipment however, it was set up for top vent, and I had to remove the top vent and break free the shields that directed the air upward then cap off the top of vent. It was an extra step I wasn't really prepared to take since I had made sure to purchase the product on their website that was designated as rear exhausting.
