FOTILE 30 in. Side Vent Range Hood with 850 CFM - Onyx Black
FOTILE Slant Vent Series, 30 In. wall mount/under-cabinet ducted range hood with Dual-Centrifuge Fan System. Capable of normally producing 530 CFMs, but with WhisPower Motor Technology and Capture-Shield extraction, it can achieve a maximum power of 850 CFM and a lowest noise level of 39dB. With a 90 degree Open Fume Baffle Plate it captures smoke and fumes before they escape. A large 6 sf coverage area easily covers all 4/5 burners on your cooktop, guiding smoke upwards and creating a barrier to prevent you from breathing in harmful smoke and grease. Mechanical buttons with Memory Function keep your preference for fan speed. Color in Onyx Black.

- With a fixed open baffle plate at 90 degrees, the coverage area is extended up to 6 sq ft, guiding the smoke upwards and out, preventing you from breathing in harmful smoke and grease.
- Capable of normally producing 530 CFM, with the WhisPower motor Technology and Capture-Shield extraction, it can achieve a maximum power of 850 CFM and lowest noise level 38dB
- Push buttons with 3 variable fan speeds let you adjust the speed to fit your needs. 2 LED lights up to 500 lx for improved visibility.
- With large grease tray and removable, dishwasher safe filter, allowing you to prepare more meals with a less and quick cleaning.

I thought it wasn’t working
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first turned on the vent, I thought it didn’t work well. I put a napkin on the stove to see if it’ll flutter, but it didn’t. The vent was also quieter than the microwave hood vent I had before. However, I tested the vent with cooking bacon and frying foods, and it did its job! My house, hair, and clothes doesn’t smell like food. The microwave vent I had before was horrible in comparison. I’m very happy with my purchase! (PS, make sure you get the right vent. I originally bought the slant, but it only has the top vent. The pixie has a top or back vent)

Great Hood
I've been using this for over a year now. I've washed the grilles a few times in the dish washer. I lined the dip pan with newspaper and never had to change it out as it isn't that oily/dirty. I wipe down as needed and had no issues what so ever. Great product, works as intended, and sleek design as well.
My only complaint would be I should've paid more to get the higher model for the touch sensors and automatic close/open of the intake cover.

Quiet with substantial suction power!
There are two aspects that I would highly recommend fotile range hood to people who are looking for a range hood product.
1. The function. I consider myself to be pretty handy, so after I bought my condo, I replaced the under cabinet range hood that only blows oily air back at your head to a typical range hood, which only shows poor suction and leave oily residue all over the kitchen. And it is loud. So after some time I finally decided to pull the trigger and bought the fotile range hood. Boy, what a difference. I think even at the lowest setting it is pulling air hard, enough for simple cooking or boiling. At level 3 it is pulling air through the magnetic curtain over the kitchen door easily and all the fumes from the cooktop get sucked clean.
2. Installation. As you can see in the picture, the condo doesn't provide a simple installation for vent pipe as in house, I used to have a soft pipe just kind of hanging there, which is not pretty. Therefore, when the installer comes over and did a job like that, I was flat out amazed. The hard pipe is secured in place with two hangers, and it is solid. The seal is perfect and the setup looks clean.
Therefore, I would recommend this product to you without hesitation.
