Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needed filters for a Frederich Kuhl A/C Eventually everything showed up and in good condition. The only hiccough was with the filter holder clips. The complete shipment was sealed into a plastic shipper bag. During transit the bag got slashed open and the filter clips escaped. Richards did send replacement clips that that also arrived in a plastic shipping bag but this time the -smaller- bag was intact. Shipping time from the East coast to Colorado was about what I would expect -about 4 working days.

Why do you need these brackets if the filter fits completely and doesn't move. The directions are not to clear as what you are supposed to remove to put these brackets in.

In my experience the thicker merv filters would not stay where they need to stay without the brackets. I removed one of the existing screws and used that to screw in the bracket into the same hole that I removed the screw from.
