What a difference...
Replace 15 year old similar air conditioner that was sized based on square footage at 6,500 BTU. The old air conditioner was at the bottom of the range and this one is at the top. What a difference. I can turn it on before I get into the shower and when I get out, it has already knocked the edge off the heat and humidity.

Cools nicely but app needs work
Works nicely. 1 star less because apps Eco mode is flakey. When set from app it always sets temp to 79 and you can't adjust.

Friedrick air-condition
As always Friedrick is a good buy, little expensive but reliable.

Wifi support not so supportive
Bought 15,000 Btu unit and very quiet and easy to program wifi. This 10,000 btu is a bit louder and cannot program to wifi. I called Friedrichs and representative was getting snippy and did not have much patience with talking me thru ( not understanding him because of heavy foreign accent attributed to miscommunication). He told me to take unit back to store because it is not working properly. After hanging up with him , I saw info in user guide regarding connecting to Smartlife wifi and it worked. Not sure why rep at Friedrich did not recommend it. I guess he thought ripping unit out of wall was an easy task and bringing back to store. Maybe he should try it someday and see how easy it is.

Poor Quality
This is the 3rd time I have had to have this model replaced. Each one only lasted a year.

Loud and cheaply made
We've owned several Friedrich air conditioners and this is the loudest, by far. The plastic door to get to the filter feels like a cheap toy, as does the filter.

Does everything but cool the room
Bought the first one in 2021 , lasted about 9-10 months. Store replaced it with the same model .this one made it to 2 years , compressor no longer comes on! So basically a big noisy fan. The Store would no longer cover repair and an independent repair company looked at the brand and said all they would do is replace it 😡🤬

Will never buy a Friedrich again
I purchased this model last year to replace an older Friedrich which no longer was working. First - SOOO LOUD. At first I couldn't even fall asleep. I have it on the lowest fan setting. Ugh. I hate it. Blue light which is so bright. Two things not to do to fall asleep. This year it started freezing up and the room doesn't get cooler than 74 degrees. I hate this unit. Do not buy!!!!!
