Easy install, wifi convenience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was a breeze and its fairly quiet when running. It cools a bedroom down quickly and efficiently. The wifi feature is nice so you dont have to get up to change temperature. I would recommend this to my friend.

Quiet and Alexa connected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We converted our little room in our garage to a study space and this unit is perfect. Works well with Alexa so if I’m back upstairs and forgot to turn off the unit I can do it via Alexa. It’s powerful and pretty quiet. The only problem is that it’s pretty heavy and it was hard to install. We also had to cut out a spot for the AC unit. Not sure how much the energy cost will be since we just got it going but so far, wonderful!

5 Star AC Unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new Friedrich Smart Air Conditioner. First, It's super easy to install. Anyone can do it, and it comes with everything you need. The unit runs great, and is very quiet compared to other units I have used. The remote is easy to use, and so is the app. I love being able to turn the unit off while I'm at work to save energy, but be able to run it with the click of a button to cool down my room before returning home. So convenient! 5 stars overall!

Perfect

Just perfect!
I was very surprised at the advances that have been made with air conditioners. I wasn't expecting this to be so quiet and also so versatile in the choices of error quality that we are given. You can simply run the fan which I like a lot of the times because in the evening the air is cool. You also have a Dry option which acts as a dehumidifier and surprisingly the air down without turning the air conditioner on the cool setting. The cool setting is great and you can adjust it to the perfect temperature and it's not too cold many of my air conditioners that I've had in the past have been. It's also very quiet. I would say I have no complaints at all.

A Great Machine
I go this to repalce an earlier model of about the same power by Friedrich. The newer model is smaller and more effcient. Where the older one would blow the circuit breaker on the 15 map line when I put n a George Foman Grill this one doesn't. It does a good job of keeping my bedroom cool and the rest of my apartment dry. Low humidity,

I recently purchased 2 Friedrich Chill Premier Series 12,000 BTU air conditioners to replace older ones that weren't powerful enough. So far, they are great! Quiet, and very cold!

Very quiet
We have a 450 sf room in the lower part of the house and we have day multi ac units most of them very noisy and do not cool as they should the is the best one yet very quiet and cools the room in minutes only one thing is I had to cut a part of the window sash to fit it in the spec. sheet is wrong about the size of the window but it is on and does the job

Quality is worth the price
Love this Friedrich A/C. Is built much better than typical junk units found in home centers. Very cool and solid, and especially ultra Quiet for sleeping. They even incorporated a metal grid to protect the delicate cooling fins. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and I'm glad I shelled out for a quality unit.

Instructions Are Trash
The unit itself is pretty good. It's not as heavy as others with similar BTUs. The design is nice and it works well. I'm not a fan of that swing arm, but some may find it useful. The built-in panels are nicer, but better suited for wider windows. I had to remove one to make it fit in my window and cover up the large gap it left behind.
The 2 terrible things are the app and the directions. I tried and tried, but I cannot get the app to work or even to put the unit into pairing mode. The directions are so terrible; the English is beyond terrible. They look like they were in another language and someone ran them through Google Translate. I cannot believe this is what came with this.

Air conditioner
Pros: very quiet, easy to direct flow of air (can sit directly in front of the ac without air blowing directly on person)
Cons: seems weak for 12000btu, for smaller size of of my room, feels more like 8000btu, so takes a while to cook the room.

Connecting to wifi
I like the air conditioner itself, but after downloading the Friedrich Go app, I couldn't connect to wifi. I've tried many times to connect to wifi, but it just won't connect. I tried calling Friedrich service, and they couldn't get me connected.

I bought this last year it worked great however this year its not working properly. It rumbles and shakes more then the first time I bought it Checking if I put extra warranty to have someone service it.

12,000 BTU is weak
Like the previous post , it's a weak 12,000btu, takes way longer to cool and the room will not feel cold like the old style compressors. Whatever BTU you are replacing, I would size up to the next highest BTU. Unfortunately this model does not come more than 12,000 BTU. It's not that quiet in the High fan setting, the inverter cycles off and on and when it's on, the AC rumbles and shakes and that's with the energy saver mode off. The library mode is gimmicky, it's just 1/2 the low fan speed and at that speed it's sounds quiet but doesn't blow strong either. I think the better inverter type AC are made by LG. They make theirs as a twin inverter, so it's stronger but the units are a lot bigger too and those units are sold out. If you buy the Friedrich 12,000 btu inverter AC, you'll be like me and say the room doesn't feel air conditioned. BTW I had the service guy come over to check it out and said that others have said the same that the room doesn't feel cold.
