Great replacement to my previous Friedrich AC
My previous Friedrich AC lasted a good ten years. When replacing it, I stuck with a comparable model from the same brand and was not disappointed. The new AC is just as good. My only complaint is the remote app I installed on my smartphone. It only works over 5G, which made the installation a hit or miss over my home's mixed mode router. But I didn't buy the AC for the app, so this is minimal for me. On this new AC, combining the moneysaver and sleep modes keeps most of the rooms cool overnight and keeps the electric bill minimal.

Noisy but works awesome
Unit is efficient but too loud for my taste. I wanted a quieter unit as I was upgrading from a fairly loud LG 5,000 BTU. This cools my studio apt immediately but I have to turn it off to record in my home booth. I will be keeping it but slightly disappointed that I can’t find a unit to solve the noise issue

Keeps the room cold
It's loud but keeps the room cold. Downside - collects water. Had the same model that recently broke and thought there was something wrong with my unit specifically. Apparently, this has the same issue with spitting water. I also have a smaller BTU Freidrich that does not do this so seems to be just with the 12000 BTU

Seems very noisy compared to the old Friedrich A/C unit it was replacing. When I asked the salesman about that, he said I had to contact the company directly.

Wakes up every several hours due to grating noise
Very dissatisfied. This is a replacement for my last Friedrich AC, which stopped working due to a freon leak. I have asthma and need AC through the night. This AC wakes me up every several hours with a grating noise. I was told this is how the new machines work. Had I been warned about that I never would have bought it.
