[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC came packaged very securely. I live in a house with one wall unit in the living room so it’s really hard to cool off the bedrooms. It cools off a medium sized bedroom decently well, but anything larger would be pushing the limits. I love that it has a remote included so you can change it from your bed. It was easy enough to install given my husband is handy, but someone with no knowledge might struggle a little bit.

Cools!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Influenster and Friedrich in exchange for my honest review. Wow! This came at perfect timing for this hot Texas summer. I have a two story house with an open floor plan. The upstairs doesn’t get cool enough though. I had a friend help me install this in the window upstairs of my media room which is an open loft to the downstairs. It’s helped cool off the hot air that rises upstairs and hasn’t t raised my electric bill too much since I’m not overworking my central air. Sometimes you just need a little extra A/C help and this did the trick. Awesome A/C! The price is very affordable too!

Simple and cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does it's job well and efficient, cools the room without any additional noise. There is no smell, just cool air. Worth every penny and much better than any basic store brand (which we had for years...will necer go back). It was a bit much to install the window brackets (for the extra support). They instructed you to literally remove the machine from the shell, which was wild. Thankfully my husband is extremely handy so it only took 30 minutes to install, so beware you may need help with that. Other than that there are no negative complaints. I really like how it connects to wifi so I can turn it on and cool or just remove humidity from anywhere. The remote is an added bonus too!

Totally Satisfied Customer
This air conditioner, that I bought within hours of the death of my old air conditioner, is totally wonderful. It is not a huge machine for an 18,000 BTU model and it is very easy to use. As this is the only a/c I have in my apartment, I'm happy with the vents that are easily to position so that the air circulates well. All-in-all, this is a great product.

Outstanding Air Conditioner
This is an outstanding A/C. It cools my space quickly when set at a low temp and high speed then keeps temp even when set at money saver, low speed and a higher temp. It is relatively quiet and has a sleek look to its cabinet. I just love it.

Friedrich 18000 BTU window/wall AC.
Great air conditioner. Fan blows high volume of air, even on low. Also very quiet. Unit comes with sleep and on timer which makes it convenient for cooling a room prior to getting home and after you go to sleep if you like. Wifi capable. I highly recommend this air conditioner in the end. The best brand available, now a days. I've owned quite a few brands over the last 25 years and this is the best.

Just an Excellent Window Air Conditioner!
I've had a number of window AC's over the years and this handsome Friedrich Chill Premier Series 18,000 BTU takes the cake. It's the best AC I've ever owned. It's incredibly quiet given it's power and it cools our 1,200 sq foot apt easily. In the recent past I made the mistake of trying to save a little money and purchased 2 other brands at 2/3 the price of this unit. And what a mistake that was. One only lasted 4 years and the other was so noisy I had to return it. You really get what you pay for folks. Don't skimp. Friedrich's only manufacturers Air Conditioners and they do it right. I know I sound like an influencer, but I'm not. Just a thoroughly satisfied customer. This is a great unit.

Super cool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Friedrich window unit air conditioner is wonderful. Our sun room was an add on, so it does not get any of the central air, and this was just the thing to make that room better in the summer. It is powerful, easy to use (the remote control is great!), and very sleek looking. Installing it in the window got a little tricky because of the way our still is, but there was enough included insulation to make it work. All in all, it is amazing!

Great cooling
Unit cools great but there's an annoying rattling noise coming from inside the unit started a week after installation not sure if it's water or something loose in there.

Friedrich 18000 BTUs
Remote does not work properly. Spent several months trying to fix the problem. Finally gave up! Will never buy Friedrich again.
