Quiet Ac and Cold
Love this Ac it runs super quiet,WiFi and the ability to use the app makes it easy to control all settings ..it does come with remote but don't really use it the app is way better and super cold !

Real Real quiet & you do not have to turn up the volume on the TV just to hear it over this ac. This ac cools the room well. Good value for the price & a rebate as well.

Great except for blue display lights at night
Works great. The reason I took away one star is that you can't turn off the harsh blue display lights at night. We cover them with sticky notes. There is a sleep mode but that messes with the temperature in addition to turning off the lights and we want the temperature to stay where we set it, we just want to dim the blue lights on the display at night and there is no way to do that.

Quiet, efficient but forget wifi control
Purchased this as third unit for last small bedroom (120 sqft, 8 ft ceiling), as we were happy with Friedrich’d two 8000 Btu units. Installed in old double hung windows with storms, typical extra work to seal and tilt properly. This 6000 Btu unit is quiet and efficient. Expected that wifi remote/app for this “B” model would be upgraded from earlier “A” in that it would be compatible with 5G network, but NO! Only works with 2.4GHz wifi which is now a dinosaur. Friedrich must modernize their units or provide an upgraded app/control unit to enable higher wifi versions. Removed 2 stars for wifi non-disclosure since the 2.4GHz limitation is not written on box or in product description…it’s only in the wifi instructions INSIDE THE BOX!

Something wrong with Freidrich Air Conditioners
Bought this a/c in 2021 and returned it within 2 weeks because it made a weird rattling noise. So they gave me another of the same make and model.
That was fine for 2021 and 2022 summers and then that one stopped cooling right after we installed it in 2023. So, still under warranty, I returned that one and was given the same Freidrich ac and this one has the same rattles as the one I first returned! I have found that it doesn't rattle on the HIGH setting but it does rattle on low and medium settings.
I'm glad I bought the warrantees but I'll never buy another Freidrich air conditioner.

had to return first one due to excessive noise and replacement is a little better, but i think there is something off with the fan. I have used these Ac's for years and they are great, but this one isn't;
