Our salesman suggested this after we told him what our needs were. It’s efficient and not too noisy. There was a rebate which could not be done online due to a glitch. Also the case of the unit was damaged as far as paint is chopped off. When I called Friedrich to apply for rebate I also told them about the damaged case. They stated they would send new case and I have not received it or the rebate and it’s been 5-6 weeks

This is the loudest AC I have ever had. It shakes the walls on low. I bought it to replace a 6-year old 8000 btu Friedrich, which was whisper quiet but the on/off button stopped working. Going to ask for my money back or an exchange for an AC that does NOT shake the walls. The vibration in the room feels like there is a helicopter hovering over my house. Shame on Friedrich for putting out such an inferior product.
