Portable A/C Exceeds expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the 12K BTU portable air conditioner/dehumidifier. It comes with the outside air discharge flex duct and window adapter plate. The need to discharge hot air outside requires placement near a window. A remote control is included, and the unit also connects to a cell phone with wifi.
The hot air discharge outside may require a source of make-up air to the conditioned space. I am adding a piece of poly filter material at the end of the adapter plate, to control where the make-up air comes from .
Perhaps the mfr. could include a filter frame that joins onto the window adapter plate, for those who can use it.
The performance of the unit is excellent with very good air flow, and there is no need for a conensate drain in A/C mode. Dehumidifier operation does require a drain method. I don't think the unit has a provision for a safely cutoff for drain overflow/high level/backup. That would be a good idea for applications where property damage may occur due to drain overflow outside of the unit.

Does the job for a florida garage gym

My house was always so hot and very muggy since I’ve gotten this my whole entire house. I have a two bedroom one living room one bathroom and one kitchen. Everything gets cooled by just one little AC in the other AC I had in the window would only do justice for the living room where it was placed. This is the best thing I ever gotten and only needing one for all rooms is the best.

Excellent solution

Saved our butts!

Love it!

I do wish it sealed with the window a little better, maybe if it came with foam for both under and above the window exhaust piece. I’ve just noticed some lizards have been getting in my room since I put it in. But they’re cool so it’s not too big a deal, part of living in Florida I guess. But the unit works great. Cools my room down in five minutes.

Feeling Chilly is a good thing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve recently bought the Frigidaire 3 and 1 portable AC unit and it is doing everything it’s designed to do. Although I have only run it in Fan and Cool modes, it’s meeting my expectations for cooling or moving air in my upper bedroom which is about 500 square feet.
I plan on using the dry mode which will remove the humidity from the space as soon as we get above 80 degrees later today.
So far I’m happy with AC unit as it is doing everything that it’s designed to do!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air purifier that is built into the air conditioner literally, I’ve never seen an air purifier itself work as well as this one! I find my hair in it. I find dust particles it cleans so well. I’ve just never seen anything like it before and it keeps cool, unlike any other air conditioner I’ve ever invested in and it also soaks up moisture, so I’m definitely recommending this to all of the chronic respiratory patients that I know! We don’t even have animals or smoke in this house and I didn’t even know that we had dust and I’m not even sure where this stuff is coming from it’s insane! my son has been more vibrant and happy and upbeat

Fantastic Freezing Air Conditioner!!

We live in Texas where it can regularly be over 100 degrees, this ac keeps our room at a cool 73 degrees, it is not noisy like some other reviewers have said but hey who cares, we enjoy the cool more than I care about the fact I hear it running! So far no problems and it is quite nice having an ac system that isn't sucking in pollens, mold, etc from the old style window unit air conditioners! We are Frigidaire folks all the way! Thanks guys for a great ac system!

Great replacement option

This portable unit is working out great on all accounts. No heavy lifting and works well to cool the entire area. Very pleased and looking forward to less hassle with installation/removal.
