Love my new AC
Installed unit on July 5th, 2026, right in the middle of a heat wave. So far I love it! it fits in my small window, and still had plenty of room to extend the side panels. It installed easy with help of a friend, cools quickly, isn't to loud with it on high and nice that it is wifi and there app is easy to use, however, I LOVE the fact that it is compatible with Alexa! I use Alexa to work my ac at all times. Love that I can just speak a command without having to go to the ac unit or grabbing the remote or my phone. I will never purchase an ac unit that is not compatible with Alexa. Regarding the AC unit, I love I can purchase a 14,000 BTU window ac that is 115V. Please don't ever get rid of that. I can't say enough on this Unit, but I has only used it now for 5 days now, without any issues. Crossing my fingers, that this one lasts as long as my last fridigidaire ac. I also have their stove, above stove micro wave and side by side refrigerator. The only down fall on this unit, is the temperature does not display, unless you hit a button on unit to make it light up. The other down fall, is when you turn unit on, it automatically goes to ECO mode. From what I understand, this is NOT a Fridigaire doing, I believe it is the Goverment dictating that all new AC units start and stay in ECO mode and you have to change the mode yourself after start up. I have to get used that requirement, but using Alexa, I just created a routine that when I say AC on, it sets my preferred settings, High, Cool and my preferred temp. That is all I do and so far, everything is working great!!!!!!!! As a note to Frigidaire, please keep making this AC. I do not live the ac units that have the inverter in them. I prefer this type of unit without an inverter. Keep up the good work Frigidaire, I love your products, as you can see I own, a few. I'm considering ordering another to keep up for a back up, but not sure how warranty would work, if I never had to install it until 5 years from now. I'm still thinking about it, but want to give this unit a bit more time to make sure, it's performance stays as it is right now. But if anyone is looking for a 14,000 BTU window AC, your won't be disappointed.

A great a/c unit.

Awesome Air Conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Central air conditioner broke down and part back ordered. Even if central air gets repaired still going to use this. Cools the room faster and has a remote and sleep mode. Used plastic and GreenGuard to insulate it. It is cheaper to run anyway.

Kept My Home Comfortable When My HVAC System Failed

It has done an excellent job keeping my roughly 1,100-square-foot home comfortable while I wait for a new HVAC system. It cools quickly, maintains a consistent temperature, and has been reliable every day. The controls are easy to use, and the overall performance has exceeded my expectations. I love this AC!

I love that it comes with both a remote control and an app. I use the app to turn the unit on while I’m still at work so that the room will be cool by the time I arrive home.

Lifesaver Window A/C
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our Frigidaire window A/C has been a literal lifesaver. Our previous window a/c went out and this Frigidaire was so easy to install and put out such cold air. The recent 107° weather was able to be tolerated.

Brrrr… it’s cold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is super at cooling. I tried one of the inverted window units (from another brand) and it wasn’t cutting it on cooling the room at all so I went back to the old school technology and effectiveness! This unit is fantastic at cooling- sometimes I have to turn it off bc it’s too cold. One complaint is the on/off button doesn’t respond immediately, so I have to press it a few times.

We had an outstanding experience with Don from the Elwood/Commack PCRichard store on Jericho Turnpike. Don was extremely helpful in helping us with 2 air conditioners we bought. He was beyond knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. We are happy with our purchases.
