smooth. wont leave prints. besides home depot sells a spray that removes prints from stainless steel appliances. i forgot the name but it has a yellow cap and it says for stainless steel appliances shine. works very well.

Can I just select or jump to heat dry function without going thru entire wash cycle? I wanted to sometimes wash manually dishes from sink and stick it in the machine and just choose heat dry. I can do this from my previous whirlpool machine.
