It's so quiet.Love the ease of pulling it out and moving back in place.It also has a green light underneath the door to let me know it's running.Also love the light that goes on inside whenever I open the door.Being frost free is a hugh plus.

Convenient

We bought this to replace a chest freezer and whilst transferring from the old to the new we found items that were 5+ years old. This freezer will eliminate that waste as we can see everything.

We are seniors, we had a chest type, it was hard to look in the bottom of the freezer and get the food we want out. Don't have a garage so we have it in a small bedroom in our home. So easy to walk in to the freezer and get what we won't to eat. Thanks for your products you have been making for years they last for years. I am 73 years, I think it will last a lot longer then I live. Thanks for freezer I love it.

Ultimate "Garage Ready" Freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this upright freezer after our chest freezer went out right after the warranty expired. This freezer is "garage ready" which is great. It is extra insulated to protect your food in the heat of the uninsulated garage. It is also frost free where as my chest freezer was not. There is also a green light that shines on the floor which lets you know instantly that your freezer is working. It has a lot of space for its 13 cu ft size. So glad we purchased this freezer. Fridgidaire is a giant in the freezer catagory.

Enjoy modern features

Add in garage ready and a frost free interior and it’s pretty perfect except for one thing - a temperature display would be useful but that might be too expensive.

Wished I'd Bought It Years Ago
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed an extra freezer in my basement to have food on hand for upcoming surgery. After exploring a number of models (and WHY does anyone buy a freezer chest except to hide a dead body?!?) I decided on this 13 Cu. Ft. upright by Frigidaire--an excellent brand name in freezers. A smaller model would have worked; however, this 13 cu ft. one has automatic defrosting (no way would I consider manual), could be hinged on the left side (which I needed), has a removeable basket shelf, door shelves, and 5 other shelves, several adjustable for height. It was perfect for my needs, and at a very reasonable (non-sale) price. I am SO glad I bought it, LOVE it, just wish I'd done it sooner.

Great freezer!

It was still working, but I was done with the chore of defrosting it. I love that it has a light inside and the door could be switched to accommodate my kitchen.

Great freezer with larger capacity
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The footprint of this freezer is smaller with large capacity, but so much easier to get to frozen items than a chest freezer. Got to temperature quickly and freezes food quickly. Runs quietly and easy to adjust shelves. Very happy so far.
