The Fabulously Functional Frigidaire 30” Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought Frigidaire’s new 30” 4-zone Side-control cooktop to replace my old 15+ year-old Frigidaire cooktop. I had cracked the ceramic glass top on the old cooktop as the result of a freak accident. I didn’t even think about looking at competitors’ models because I loved the design, the reliability, and total functionality of my old Frigidaire cooktop.
My new cooktop was quickly shipped out, and it was a breeze to install since the dimensions were exactly the same as the old cooktop. I love the dual radiant surface elements, the quick boil element of this new cooktop, and the overall sleek design. This cooktop has met my highest expectations for Frigidaire’s continuing high quality and energy efficiency at a reasonable price.

Replacement Cook-Top
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cracked the glass on my 14 yr old Kenmore Elite Electric Cooktop and needed to replace it. After extensive investigation, including checking Consumer Reports, decided to buy a Frigidaire Electric Cooktop. It works better than the previous cooktop and I could not be happier with my choice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had our electric cooktop installed last week and it works great. It's very nice to look at and has all the correct features we were looking for. One of the very nice features is the cutout measurements, it gives a plus/minus measurement so you have a little room to play with. Great product/investment.

Fantanstic cooktop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This our first Frigidaire cooktop and we love how it looks. It is extremely easy to use and boils water much faster than our old cooktop which was not a Frigidaire. The installer was punctual, professional, knowledgable, and answered all of our questions. In less than 30 minutes he removed the old cooktop and correctly installed this new one. The thinness (height) of the unit is perfect for our needs because it is mounted into a granite countertop. We give this model five stars and look forward to many years of ownership.

Replaced cooktop with same model, after 23 years of faithful service
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We came back from the Christmas holiday to discover our older Frigidaire ceramic cooktop had finally given up the ghost. Being very pleased with the many years of trouble-free service we got from it, (23, I confirmed that by the build-date on the bottom of it once I removed it) I looked up current models hoping there was something similar. Thankfully Frigidaire still makes a virtually identical unit, as the depth below the counter top is a problem, due to an optional gas pipe stub which sticks out from the back wall. When I installed the original cooktop, even with its shorter height (one of the reasons we chose Frigidaire originally) I had to build an aluminum frame to lift it 1/2" above the counter tile height. The new one is even shorter in height, and sized virtually identically width and depth-wise. So it dropped right in. Another pleasant surprise was the power cabling still used 3 wires, as the old one, so I did not have to change anything to adapt it. One feature on the new one I appreciated is the stainless trim on the front. With the old one, about 7 years ago I dropped an unexpectedly very hot bowl on it, from the microwave above, and it hit right on the front edge and broke out a chunk and cracked it back to the first temp controller. However that did not affect performance and it worked flawlessly the remaining years. If the same thing were to happen again, it appears the stainless would protect the vulnerable front edge. I also like the revised indicators, being simple circles as on the old one the gradient rings would collect hard water stains from boiling pots and were difficult to clean. The 2-option front right burner is a handy feature as well, allowing smaller pots or pans to be used there as well as large ones. The knobs are a nice upgrade from the original as well, easier to use and nicely styles. Very pleased that the model was available, and upgraded, and hope we get the same long lifespan from it.

So far so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted a replacement cooktop that fit in the existing cutout and had analog controls (knobs) and not digital. This unit fit the bill. Installation was easy. Only had it a few weeks so can't speak to longevity. The unit performs well so far, the burners heat up very quickly. I am satisfied.

I love this cooktop!

Excellent Quality Cooktop
We are incredibly satisfied with the quality of this cooktop. The unit was simple to install and wire up with the directions included. The burners heat quickly and the controls are easy to operate. Would recommend this cooktop to anyone.
