Small but effective

This is an efficient little machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Frigidaire 5000BTU A/C is small, lightweight and efficient. It cool fast and I like the large open vents. The auto shut off when the room meets its target temperature helps with saving electricity. Unlike my old clunker that kept running until powered off. For a small room, it’s perfect. My only sad thing is the noise in high fan it still louder than anticipated. But I keep it on a lower fan when sleeping and it is quite quiet.

Installation is easy, although I had to add a piece of plywood to fill the extra space created by the fact that the only window that opens in my unit is oversized. All that aside, bottom line is the a/c unit does a great job.

A great Air Conditioner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 5,000 BTU air conditioner works as well as my larger 11,500 BTU one. It definitely cools down the room much faster than the older heaver one that I replaced it with. I highly recommend this unit.

It was not difficult to install. This little unit keeps my small bedroom nice and cool even on the low fan speeds. I really like the ECO setting and use it most of the time. It's quiet and has an easy to use remote. My only hope is that it lasts as long as the one it replaced.

Great AC Unit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit works like a charm. Very quiet and efficient. The only feature I'd like to see it have is a "auto" speed fan. Setting the fan to a set speed can, at times, be to much or too little. Having an auto speed fan would make this appliance perfect!

This air conditioner runs smoothly and cooled the room as needed. Simple to operate and the digital reading on the front is a plus. Would love to purchase another one.

My bedroom is finally cool enough to sleep in!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old ac was just not doing the trick. It was loud and did not cool my small bedroom enough to sleep comfortably. I've had my new ac in for a few weeks, and I am loving it!! I set it on the economy setting, and it cycles on/off to keep me cool throughout the night. It has an excellent Energy Star rating, si I know that I'm saving money and not wasting energy.
