Keeping cool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC is cooling a medium size bedroom very well. I like that it maintains a steady, fairly quiet sound, and doesn't cycle on and off, which used to wake me up at night. I also like the "sleep" function, which gradually moves the AC temperature up a few degrees as your body temperature naturally cools while sleeping. Very efficient and comfortable. You don't wake up too cold. Good machine, glad I bought this one.

Cool as a cucumber
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got my new Frigidaire installed about two weeks ago and it has really been great in my apartment. The heat has been up and down and it has been easy to switch from Cool to Fan mode to save money on electric. I love it so far!

Unit cools off high ceiling brownstone bedroom
Easy install and start up. I love the remote AND APP feature of the unit where I can turn it on before even getting in to the apartment! I have high ceilings and was nervous it wouldn’t fully cool off my bedroom, but it gets the job done and then some! It is pleasantly quieter than my much older unit in the living room. I also have oddly narrow windows in a brownstone that I was nervous the unit wouldn’t fit properly but hallelujah it FITS just using one of the side panels to secure it.

Quiet, Cool, & Smart

Three days of use and it still functions, hooray!

Frigidaire 8000 BTU inverter AC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in NYC and installed this Frigidaire 8,000 BTU kitchen AC in April, so I have only used it a few times so far.
Based on this limited use, it has cooled the kitchen well and has run extremely quietly, which I appreciate. Since I have not used it through a full summer or sustained heat wave yet, I cannot comment beyond that at this time. So far, I am pleased with its cooling and quiet operation.

Great little AC
Have had the unit ~2 months so far and works great. In particular the inverter compressor which runs at variable speeds maintains a more consistent temperature. I wouldn't say it's much quieter than a traditional window unit but is pretty good. The WiFi feature is also convenient as you can control via the Frigidare app. It's a good little workhorse and would recommend.

New unit believe this is a great company

8000 BTU Inverter model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a recalled Midea "U" model and I like the fact that it works with the allergen filter and is not a "U" shape so it will also be easier to totally disassemble for thorough cleaning, if it is ever needed. The Midea was nearly impossible to work on (disassemble) and the indoor blower fan was caked in mold that's nearly impossible to clean without a total disassembly. The only downside to the Whirlpool is the requirement to download the app to use the 'quiet' fan speed and the flammable R32. The optional allergen filter really sold this model for me because it will really help keep the cold side internals clean considerably longer, as well as the health benefits.

Perfect for both efficiency and cooling and quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was amazingly light compared to the 5000 btu twenty year old air conditioner it replaced. My energy bill while running this new Frigidaire has been cut by more than 50 percent. Run's quiet too. Can't be happier. Well worth the money. Don't settle for just an air conditioner. Make sure to get an Inverter one. It will more than make up for the extra initial cost with month after month of energy bill savings.

Runs great for the time being
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the temperature control and ECO settings work. I've only recently purchased and installed it. Its early October (Fall Season) so not in heavy use. I purchased it to replace a Midea recall. I have a 5 month old daughter that I'm not putting at risk with black mold. This model should be much easier to clean if needed--fingers crossed. A little under 2 weeks at the moment and it's been working great. Honestly, I wish the review could be a year from now when I really put it into action through the summer.

I have not yet experienced a major heatwave but have faith this will do the trick. Excited about the inverter technology!

Finally Sleep Through the Night
We've put off getting an AC for the bedroom because our apartment can't handle much on the circuits but this AC worked perfectly with our electrical setup so we could finally install an AC in the bedroom. And this small room AC really packs a punch. FINALLY I can sleep through the night during the blistering summer. And, bonus, it's super quiet, so it won't be waking you up at night or making it hard for you to hear the TV.
I downloaded the app and it is super convenient. Didn't realize my living room AC was also a Frigidaire so I now have both set up in the app. Now when I'm almost home I go into the app and turn on the ACs so the apartment is cooled down when I walk in.
We got this AC at the perfect time, just before we hit a heatwave, so it's been a life--and sleep!--saver. Highly recommend.

Quiet and A Mighty Wind
