INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup plus 1/2 cup softened butter, separated
  • 1/4 cup plus 1/3 cup sugar, separated
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips or peanut butter chips
  • Large container of hazelnut spread or creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • Fruit or mint for garnish (optional)

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

  • (8) 6 oz. ramekins
  • Pastry brush
  • #24 (1.5 oz.) cookie scoop
  • Dark cookie sheet

DIRECTIONS

  1. Use the 1/4 cup softened butter and a pastry brush to coat bottom and sides of ramekins. Dust bottom and edges of ramekins with the 1/4 cup sugar.
  2. Preheat your Frigidaire Range with Air Fry to 325° F on Air Fry mode.
  3. In a stand mixer bowl, combine the remaining 1/2 cup butter, 1/3 cup sugar, salt, flour, cream cheese, eggs, cocoa, and vanilla. Mix near high for about 10 seconds. Reduce mixer speed to 2 and mix for 5 minutes. Scrape sides and blade occasionally.
  4. While mixing, melt the 1 cup of chocolate or peanut butter chips.
  5. After batter is mixed well, turn mixer off and add the melted chocolate or peanut butter.
  6. Mix on speed 2 for 3 minutes, scraping sides and blade occasionally.
  7. Place all ramekins on your cookie sheet. Use the #24 scoop to place a scoop of batter into each ramekin. If you don't have a scoop on hand, each portion should be just under 3 tablespoons.
  8. Gently spread batter to edges.
  9. Scoop a tablespoon of hazelnut spread or creamy peanut butter on the center of each batter scoop.
  10. With the #24 scoop, place another scoop of batter on top of the hazelnut spread or peanut butter, and spread gently to the edge. Repeat on all ramekins.
  11. Place sheet in center rack position for 15-20 minutes. (Using Bake mode may require extra cook time.)
  12. Melt remaining chocolate chips and drizzle the melted chocolate across the serving plates.
  13. Flip cakes out of ramekins onto plates immediately. Sprinkle powdered sugar over cakes and add additional garnish, if desired.
  14. Serve and enjoy!
