So glad we found this freezer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the space and how easy it is to find my food. No more crawling into a deep freezer chest! And I’m happy with the performance so far. Glad we stuck with a brand name we have trusted through the years.

So Convenient and So Much Extra Space!
I’m really happy with the Frigidaire Upright Convertible Freezer. One of my favorite features is being able to use it as either a refrigerator or a freezer. It’s so convenient to have that flexibility depending on what I need more of at the time.
The size is just right for us. There’s plenty of room without it feeling like we have a huge appliance taking over the space. I especially love having a place for extra drinks, so I never have to worry about having enough cold beverages when family and friends come over. It’s also been a lifesaver when we’re getting ready for a party because I can prepare ahead of time and have plenty of space to store food and drinks.
It has also made shopping at club stores so much more worthwhile. I can buy things in bulk without trying to cram everything into our regular refrigerator or freezer. There’s plenty of room for all those extra items, which makes stocking up so much easier.
Overall, this freezer has been such a useful addition to our home. I love having the extra space and especially the option to switch between refrigerator and freezer use. It’s one of those things you don’t realize how much you need until you have it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The appliance you didn't know you needed. My wife loves having the option to convert the freezer to a refrigerator. Having the capacity during the holidays will make feeding our big family a breeze. It's getting harder to find anything that's this handy and solid. Stabile temperatures and well insulated you can place it anywhere.

Super Spacious!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The deep, wide interior layout maximizes every cubic foot, making it effortless to store bulk purchases, oversized freezer bags, and meal-prep containers without playing a game of freezer Tetris like I had to with my old freezer. The glass shelves are very easy to adjust and clean in addition to looking great. The top-mounted LED light instantly illuminates every corner. It casts a clear, bright glow across all shelves so you can easily spot items tucked in the back. I am extremely pleased with my new Frigidaire freezer.

Impressive
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very Impressive Appliance! Within 5 hours it was at -20C after plugging it in, far less than the recommended 24 hours. It's very spacious and I'm looking forward to many years of service. So far, looking at my electric bill, the cost of running this appliance is going to pay for itself in no time. My electric company allows me to see my daily unbilled consumption and since I've replaced my old freezer with this one, my electric consumption has dropped significantly! I'm at an average of 90kwh/day to less than 70kwh/day now for my entire house and the only thing that has changed is the freezer.

Starts working fast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This freezer features a nice, straightforward design and did not take long to get working. It's done a great job keeping food frozen in our warm garage. It's nice that it has the option to double as a refrigerator as well.
Disclaimer: I did receive this freezer free in exchange for a review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic capacity and incredible versatility!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this 21 cu. ft. Frigidaire upright freezer to handle overflow storage, and it has exceeded expectations. The space inside is massive—the four full-width glass shelves, two clear drawers, and large door bins make organizing frozen foods effortless compared to digging through a chest freezer.
The best feature is its versatility: it’s garage-ready and fully convertible, meaning we can switch it between a freezer and a full refrigerator if our needs change. It holds temperature consistently thanks to the EvenTemp system, runs quiet, and the sleek integrated handle gives it a clean look. Knowing it offers power outage protection and is Energy Star certified provides great peace of mind. Highly recommend!

Awesome freezer/refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small in foot print huge in space allowing us to store so much in extra food. Reversible hinges allowed us to switch the way the door swings to suit our space for easy access. The temperature settings allow for flexibility to turn from freezer to drink fridge easily. It was plug and ready and cold fast for use. Love it!

This freezer has been a "life changer" for our family. We did have a chest freezer but food would get buried, lost and forgotten. Now, we can SEE it! We do wish it came with more shelving, we would use every bit of it!

Huge Capacity Without the Freezer Tetris
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this freezer. At 21 cubic feet, it has a tremendous amount of storage space, but because it’s an upright, everything is easy to see and organize instead of disappearing into the bottom of a chest freezer.
The interior layout is especially well designed. The full-width glass shelves, clear drawers, and large adjustable door bins make it easy to separate different types of food and actually find what you’re looking for. The LED lighting is bright, and the whole interior feels much more like a full-size refrigerator than a traditional freezer.
One of my favorite features is that it can be converted from a freezer to a refrigerator. I may not need that every day, but it gives you a lot of flexibility for holidays, parties, extra drinks, or any time refrigerator space suddenly becomes scarce.
I also appreciate that it’s designed to be garage ready, since that makes placement much more flexible. It feels sturdy, has plenty of usable space, and the automatic defrost is another feature I’m very happy not to live without.
Overall, this is an excellent choice if you need substantial extra food storage but still want everything organized and accessible. The combination of size, thoughtful storage, and the ability to convert between refrigerator and freezer makes it much more versatile than a basic upright freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this upright freezer! The shelves make it easy to see and organize my garden produce, and everything is much easier to access than it was in my old chest freezer. No more digging through piles to find what I need!
I’ve only used it as a freezer so far, but I love it can be converted to a refrigerator when needed. The handle-free design fits great in my utility room, and I like the option of moving it to the garage.
I also like that this freezer maintains a constant temperature. The insulation does a great job of keeping everything cold and helps the freezer recover quickly when the door is opened.

Garage ready refrigerator or freezer….. you pick.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received this to replace an old commercial unit we had in the garage. This Frigidaire unit has more room than what we had and very happy with its performance. We are using it as a refrigerator currently and it’s holding at a steady 39 degrees F in our southern heat of 97 outside temp. If need be it can convert over to a freezer if I run out of room in my Frigidaire convertible 7 cubic foot upright freezer.
Thank you for a great product and look forward to many years use out of it. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a garage ready freezer or refrigerator.
Thank you!

Great Garage-Ready Option for Fridge or Freezer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect setup for our garage! I love the ease with which you can switch between freezer and refrigerator settings. It is a simple press of a button which is easy to access near the door. The freezer setting has three options while the fridge option has one. Easily adjustable shelves can slide in and out to fit a variety of sized items. Two drawers at the bottom help with organization as well. It has been especially hot outside and in our garage, and there is no condensation. I have it set to fridge, and everything is nice and cold. The no handle option allows us to maximize space too.

New Freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although this can be used as either a freezer or refrigerator (at the push of a button), we plan on using it primarily as a freezer. It is replacing our previous Frigidaire Freezer which is 30 years old & still running!! This unit is huge and coupled along with the multiple shelves and drawers, it holds a lot of product! Although we have it in our basement where it will not be seen or heard much, it is really attractive and quiet. It cooled off quick and is working as expected; we would highly recommend this!

Excellent Freezer
We went from a 15 cu ft freezer to this 21 cu ft freezer but the extra capacity seems much larger. The shelves are easily adjustable to accommodate personal needs. The door shelves are much deeper on this unit which adds to the storage benefits. Unlike our old freezer, this unit is extremely quiet. Standing beside it you can barely hear it running. This freezer was an excellent choice. We are extremely pleased.

Good fridge, haven’t tried as freezer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a garage refrigerator but they were all on back order. I did some research and found that they had this that can convert between both. I was hesitant about buying a Frigidaire product because I bought a portable AC that lasted a year. So far it was been working well. It had a strong suction after you close it to get rid of that excess heat from being in the garage. I wish that it had the option to select your temperature and if it had a digital temperature gauge. It only has 1 fridge setting and 3 freezer settings.

Nice features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garage ready is what I was looking for and the ability to change between refrigerator and freezer is awesome. I have a upright freezer from fridgidare so I know it will last.
Only downside is I wish it came with more shells so I ordered some.

Good size, lots of Light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The order and delivery process was flawless. I love the size of the freezer, and I love the amount of light inside that makes it so easy to find our items. It cooled quickly and has been effective at keeping our food frozen. I am having a slight challenge with the glass shelves. After just a few days of use, one of the selves are starting to show a slight bow. I bought the larger size freezer in order to hold a family sized amount of veggies, chicken, fries, etc. Items are sorted, labeled and organized with plastic dividers. I’m unsure about the long term durability of the shelves. Fingers crossed. Hopefully replacements or supports are available if needed.

Light switch trigger issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fridge but I had to have the door swing changed so the hinges were on the left side instead of the right, and now the light switch doesn’t get pushed in by the door when it closes. The hinges are off just enough that the switch doesn’t get depressed, the edge of the door just slides under it. The switch could be put lower down or the hinges could be made more easily adjustable. As it stands, I just hit the switch if I want the light on.
I have to say there are these plastic pieces on the top of the fridge on the sides (one has the light switch on it) that seem pretty flimsy.

Nice quality freezer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this new freezer. Has a lot of room inside . It seems well made and well designed. My only complaint is that I wish it had one more glass shelf so that I can keep things more organized by product. And not have so many things on top of each other which tend to slide out.I like to keep things organized so that they are easier to find quickly.

Nice unit - using it a fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice unit, using it exclusively as a fridge to match the color of my upright freezer, brand new just two weeks old. As far as I can tell keeps food fresh. Wish it had more shelves as well an actual temperature gauge to see how cold it is. Unit has a lot of space and seems to run quietly.
