Great AC for NYC
I've had the AC unit for 3 weeks and it works great. It cools my 350 sq ft living room quite well, even in this NYC heatwave. The WiFi and app connectivity is a big plus, I often will turn the unit ON while traveling home. It's relatively quiet. I like how the display panel appears dim or off while in use. The included remote is helpful. I recommend this 12,00 BTU Frigidaire AC unit.

A great air conditioner for the price
I like it a lot--it's very quiet and cools the room well. The panel lights dim when you aren't changing settings, which is great--no glaring green lights! Am thinking about getting one for another room. It's leaps and bounds better than my old one.

I'll only buy Frigidaire.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just when I thought an air conditioner could not get any quieter, this one topped them all. I've had a handful of Frigidaire AC units now. They don't make my electric bill go up, they are quiet, and light weight. I usually get 10,000 btu but this time I was able to get a 12,000 btu for the same low weight. I am a 60 year old woman, 5'4".So size matters since I install it myself. :)

Slider Window installed OK
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although his air conditioner is for a up and down opening window we bought it because we not want to deal with the extra weight and expense of a slider window air conditioner. Installing it in our sliding window was easy. We used plexiglass to fill in the upper portion of the window.

Excellent AC
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC is 3x smaller than my older model and emits the same amount of BTUs. It cools the space quite well with its SWING mode. I am loving that not only is there a remote, but you can use the app as your remote as well. I am absolutely thrilled with the scheduling feature in the app. This allows me to set my AC for certain times of the day when I am working. Installation was very easy. This window unit is super quiet. I can't even tell if it is on at times. We have 2 window units in our living room with the other one being a 2 year older model, almost the same size but with less BTUs and it is crazy louder. We plan to eventually replace each of our window units with these models. So far a huge fan.

Very quiet

We wanted to replace it with a different brand and came across this Frigidaire Inverter window air conditioner that is so much quieter that you can barely notice it, but it cools the house down so much better than our old air condition. It was a little bit more pricey than the old one, but it was fully worth it! love it!

Quiet and efficient!

Super cold, quiet and easy to install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace a 15K BTU window unit that had finally died. I could not believer how QUIET this one is. Even if I hadn't been replacing an old rattling unit, this one is super quiet, even on high. It also cools extremely well. I have a room where two sides are all windows, and it faces east and gets lots of sun, and this 8K BTU has no problem cooling down the room. I knew the 15K was overkill but I was trying to compensate for the windows and sun. By the room size calculation, 6K was supposed to be enough but I went with the next step higher because of the sun and heat in the room. 8K BTU is plenty. This was also very easy to install. I had it in and everything screwed in by 30 minutes. It also has WIFI which I don't particularly need, but one nice feature; if I go to bed or leave the house and forget to turn the AC off, I can use my phone to turn it off. You can set up a schedule for it to turn on and off as well, which is nice. So it's definitely a great air conditioner and I highly recommend it if it fits your needs.

Soooo Quiet!

Quietest Air Conditioner I've ever had!

This unit is so quiet that I literally have to make sure it's still on. It cools my 150 sq. ft. bedroom quickly and the app was easy to set up and works great. I would highly recommend this air conditioner to anyone that is look for an attractive, quiet, and effective unit with many features. You won't regret having made the purchase.

Quietest Window or In Wall A/C Ever Owned!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the in Early July for my son's bedroom. This is a reasonably large room, top floor, facing the noon to afternoon/eve sun. The room gets hot. It replaced a powerful Carrier window A/C that we had for years. I was worried it might not have the power for the room but it works great The room was screaming hot as the old one broke down a couple of weeks after we put in the window and we had no A/C in the room for over a week in the 90's. Installation went easy and the weight and overall size was much less than the Carrier model. It was incredibly quiet with the compressor noise so low you have to get close to it to hear, especially if the fan is on high or even medium. Those reviews stating it was not that quiet are not correct or something else is wrong. We have 5 in wall high end A/Cs in this house, and four other brand window A/Cs in another home, and this one is the quietest and by a huge amount. Especially the compressor volume. Then it cooled the room right down and has worked perfect so far these few months. The styling is very good looking. My son will smart connect via his phone, but the remote is fine for me. After that the main thing is that it work well for a good number of years. For that only time will tell.

Great features and very quiet

So far this AC cools the room faster, and keep it comfortable. Plus, you hardly even know it’s on, because it’s so quiet. The only negative is, that it doesn’t have a timer to set when one wants it to go off.
