Beyond the sleek profile we loved the features such as knobs for heating elements and the digital screen for the oven. The knobs have LED lights when turned on, which is a great feature so that you can easily tell if a burner was left on by mistake (think teenagers cooking)! The left burners can be combined together with a center "bridge" element to create one large heated surface. This is great for our cast iron griddle when making pancakes for the family. The digital screen is easy to use and comes with standard oven temps that are preset. The oven size is much larger than our old one which is fantastic when we make large meals like ribs or Thanksgiving Turkey. As a result, the bottom draw is much shallower. Not an issue, but when converting from an older stove to this one, some of the items had to be relocated since we couldn't fit it all. On the plus side, it forced us to donate cooking items we actually never used.
