Absolutely the best induction cooktop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been cooking on induction cooktops since 2010. My first cooktop lasted 16 years! Now, I am on my second induction cooktop. I love it! I was worried, after loving my previous cooktop for so long. BUT, the Frigidaire cooktop delivers! it has all the fantastic features of induction, PLUS, the matt finish is easy to clean. Now, it must be known that the glass tops on induction cooktops are so easy to clean compared to glass electric cooktops. But this matteguard finish simplifies cleaning. A few quick swipes with a damp rag, and bingo! it looks brand new. HIGHLY recommend.

Love the surface, look, and cooking control

Just getting started
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the cooktop installed just two weeks ago and learning how to cook with it. Had a glass electric top that shattered and had to be replaced. Decided to go induction and the enticement to the Frigidaire was the matt glass finish (supposed to be 5X stronger) which, so far, is a major improvement on cleaning. The glass took a three-step process to clean and the matt finish seems to clean up with just water and a paper towel, and a quick polish with a microfiber cloth. The controls are simple and the top heats up quick. I’m at 7,000 ft elevation and it’ll boil a pot of water in a minute.

Very Nice Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 10 year old Ceramic Glass Cooktop that was working just fine as I wanted the speed and accuracy of Induction. This cooktop met my existing cutout and space above my built in oven along with my existing electrical service supply which made for an easy install. I have only been using it for about 2 weeks, however boiling water is extremely fast and cooking eggs to burgers and everything in-between so far is fast with accurate temperatures. The one major difference in cooking I have noticed so far is making popcorn. You really have to figure out your temperature settings because you cannot take the pan off the element for any length of time or the unit shuts off automatically. This is just a matter of figuring out what setting with what pan gives off the right amount of heat to pop efficiently without burning. The touch slider, can be a bit finicky when trying to move one setting up or down not a big deal just some getting used to. I have not had a chance to use the other features such as temp lock, I tried one time but haven't figured out how to get the temp to lock or perhaps how to recognize that it is in temp lock mode. That was not intuitive to me, so I will have to read the manual again more closely. (perhaps tech support has some tips on this if they are reading) I really like the matte finish and overall look, it definitely looks new and updated over the traditional glossy black glass.

Best Cooktop I have Ever Used!

Induction Love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We previously owned an induction stove top several years ago and when we move to a new house, it just had a glass cooktop and we were miserable with it. We are happy to report. We have a brand new Frigidaire induction stove, top and love it. I can boil water in less than a minute with the power boost. We are extremely happy with our Frigidaire.

Incredibly sleek and a breeze to clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently put this 30" induction cooktop in as part of a kitchen renovation, and it looks incredibly sleek. It fits the new space perfectly.
If you are on the fence about switching to induction and aren't quite ready to fully commit, I highly recommend a hybrid setup like this. I paired this 30" unit with a gas burner next to it, and it's the perfect size to get you used to this new way of cooking. Honestly though, induction has become so fast and precise that I’m not even sure how much I’ll actually use the gas burner moving forward. You won't regret making the jump.
The touch panel controls do take a little bit of getting used to if you're coming from traditional knobs, but it's a quick adjustment. By far, the absolute best part about it is how easy it is to clean, but I am more cautious with it now just to keep it looking pristine.
One piece of advice if you are renovating: Make sure you double-check the depth of the unit before you finalize your cabinets. You will most likely need to cut into the cabinet frame below to make it fit properly.
Overall, it's a gorgeous, low-maintenance upgrade. If you're thinking about trying induction, this is a great way to ease into it.

Beautiful and Functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had long been looking to switch to an induction cooktop, especially after moving into a new house with a 30-inch range. The old range was functional, but limited. This Frigidaire Induction range is beautiful - the matte finish is outstanding (TBD on how it holds up long-term!) - and it works like a charm! We needed a new range that was 30-amp, and I was excited to find this one was. It made sense to me that induction would be lower-amperage given the energy efficiency, but I did find some other ones that required 40 amps. Despite the 30-amp pull, it heats so quickly. The PowerBoost setting (on each of the burners!) is so nice, especially for a quick dinner. We can get water to boil in about 2 minutes, so no more waiting around. Overall, I'm very pleased with this cooktop, and have high hopes that it will hold up over time, both aesthetically and functionally.

The best cooktop range period.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is an absolutely delightful addition to our kitchen. We have used it now for over three months and what a difference. Meals are cooked faster, with more precision and with less fluctuation than what we had with a regular electric cooktop. Yes we did have to get new pots and pans but we knew that our old set would not work with this range. I would highly recommend induction and specifically the Frigidaire brand for their next kitchen upgrade!

The only thing I still need to get used to is adjusting the power level. For example, when changing the power from level 7 to level 8, sometimes I can do it with a single touch, but other times it takes a few tries.
