I recently installed the Frigidaire UMBW3011AS Microwave Drawer, and I’m extremely happy with it. The stainless-steel finish looks fantastic and gives the kitchen a much cleaner, more modern, built-in appearance.
The drawer design is easily my favorite feature. It opens smoothly, makes it incredibly convenient to place and remove food from above, and eliminates the need for a traditional microwave taking up valuable countertop space. The controls are sleek and easy to use, and the interior provides plenty of room for everyday use.
Performance has also been excellent. Food heats quickly and evenly, the drawer mechanism feels smooth and solid, and the overall quality is exactly what I was hoping for from Frigidaire.
Installing it below the countertop really transformed the look of our kitchen while giving us back additional counter space. If you're remodeling or looking for a more upscale alternative to a traditional countertop or over-the-range microwave, I highly recommend the Frigidaire UMBW3011AS.

Perfect for our Kitchen Island
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love having a drawer microwave built right into our island. It keeps the microwave out of sight and off the countertops, so it doesn’t interrupt the look of the kitchen or take up valuable workspace.
One of my favorite things about the drawer design is the height. Since it sits lower in the island, my kids can easily reach it without trying to climb up to an over-the-range microwave. It makes it much easier for them to heat up something simple on their own.
The drawer opens and closes smoothly, it’s easy to see inside from above, and having it tucked into the side of the island keeps it completely out of the way while we’re cooking. It gives us the convenience of a full-size microwave without making the microwave a focal point of the kitchen.
If you’re designing a kitchen with an island, I would absolutely choose a drawer microwave again.
