Awesome S50 watch! So glad I went this route over Apple. I’ve been wearing it all day and I’ve never been a watch person before, but I forget I have it on. Plan on getting the Garmin Z30 rangefinder to sync it up and only have to use the range finder once a hole.

Great product.
I’ve had many watches and this one is great. Does a lot of features beyond golf. I would really recommend going onto YouTube to learn what Garmin product fits your lifestyle. I wanted one that did a lot of fitness and heart health features which this does. The fabric band is okay. I still though prefer the old band style.

Great watch (light, thin, and minimal”ist”
I really enjoy how light and thin the watch is. Similar to my whoop you almost forget you’re wearing it. With Garmins ecosystem of products this is a great watch to improve my time on the course.
Not needing to have my phone with me and find instant ranges is great to disconnect and play 9 holes walking. I do find it cumbersome to take the watch on and off due to the small wristband. This was an easy fix as there are a ton of 3rd part options and I prefer a silicone band for sweat.

Love this watch
I've had this Garmin Approach S44 for a month now. I've played up to 7 different courses in 2 different states and had no issues with the watch immediately finding my course. The distances have been spot on. No longer do I need to carry my phone with me to get distances. The watch band is very comfortable and comes in different colors. I would definitely recommend this watch for the price. You can find and pay more for added features but for me it wasn't necessary.

Size is a factor.
I purchased this and as a woman I thought that the smaller 42mm would be fine. It really is BUT since I have a 47mm Forerunner and Fenix 8, this watch felt very small. I will keep this as it does cover all the golf basics but I have now also purchased the S70 to replace it. I should have known better. There’s no doubt this S50 is great thought and pairs with the R10 well. Good on course info is really what I need.

Game Improvement Watch!
Got the S44 for Christmas from my wife and have used it everytime I have played since(a considerable amount of games). The watch has a great look and comfortable low profile feel at the perfect size. The features I like the most are the real time distance to flag, easy score keeping, and hole/hazard layout. Forget your range finder, you won't need it. Everytime we have compared distance using my golf buddies very nice range finder, the S44 was exactly on the dot. Makes club selection almost to easy. The scoring is amazing as well, I don't even use the scorecard anymore. Great value, easy to see in full sun, full featured smart watch for golf. Can't go wrong with the S44!

Great battery life
I bought this on the black friday sale. Although I haven't used it for golf yet, I'm in New England so I might get to use it once or twice between now and spring. I think it is easier to use than the S42 and the battery lasts a lot longer. I honestly cant wait for spring.

Great Features and looks Good!
Got my Approach S44 for my birthday and love it! Love how it looks/feels, and the ease of working through the menu. Has helped with yardage on the course. Will need to play with it a bit more as spring rolls around, but love my Approach S44 so far.

Great features and very easy to use!
I am very happy with my Approach S44. It was very easy to use on the first day on my course. I plan on taking to Hawaii when I play some course over there that I am not familiar with. It connects to my iPhone which makes it very convenient.

Best purchase I've made in a long time.
There are so many golf watches out there, and I've had an early Garmin for a long time. Started reading up on these, and just sorta guessed and picked this one. I already want a second for my travel golf bag. It's simply a joy. Makes me smile.

Excellent GPS golf watch
I bought this S44 to replace my 10 year old S2 which was still working but the battery wouldn't allow for a full round and Garmin no longer supports this model. Garmin was great and gave me a discount for being a customer. I am amazed at the resolution and how easy it is to use. I had concerns that because I am older that I would have a hard
time seeing the screen but so far it hasn't been an issue. The battery life is amazing as after playing 18 holes the battery was still at 84%. I wish the season wasn't ending here in Oregon and I am looking forward to the spring to use it again. I also like all of the other non-golf features and sometimes just wear it as a smart watch.

The battery lasts a long time and is lightweight.
Even when I play a round, the battery usage is only about 20%, and when I wear it as a watch on a regular basis, it only uses 2-3% per day on average, which was surprising. When I used other brands, I had to charge it every evening, which was annoying, but with the S44, I've been wearing it for a week now without charging it. What surprised me the most was that my phone fell out of the cart during a round, and the S44 notified me. Of course, other devices vibrate when they fall away, but that's the end of it. With the S44, when I press the confirm button, it shows an arrow indicating which side my phone is, so I was able to easily find my phone that was dropped in the middle of the lawn. The more I use this watch, the more I like it.

Nice upgrades!
I've had the Garmin S10, S40, now the S44. All of them still work, great reliability, but the latest features on the 44 were quite enticing and I made the jump. Very happy I did! The screen is big and visible, the battery life is incredible. The newest features are easy to use, precise. I am currently using the trial membership upgrades, still playing around with them, but pretty sure I like them. Wish one didn't have to pay additional for that. Overall this watch is great!

Awesome golf watch!
My wife and I each have the Approach S44. We love it! Accurate distances to flag as well as to hazards and locations on the fairway. Great scorekeeping and reminders to note score. Very helpful on keeping track of distance of your last shot.
