LOVING IT!!
I bought this watch a month ago after purchasing a competitors smart watch that also had the ECG app. Their watch would last a maximum of two days without having to charge it. Your watch is fantastic and is only needing to be charged once every 14 to 16 days. As a person that travels a lot or is in remote locations for days at a time with no electricity, this is exactly what I needed.

Excellent…not yet perfect.
Pros: great data! Nicely integrated with app and bike computer. Almost every feature I could want. Looks rugged. Beautiful display.
Cons: a bit complicated to use. Reminds me of my first digital watch decades ago. Definitely sports-centric, and lags a bit for general health like apnea monitoring.
Observations: it’s a big watch. I’m a pretty big guy and I am glad I didn’t go larger.

I love my Fenix 8. I have been a Garmin nut since Fenix 3HR and then went to Fenix 6 and now 8. Loved every single one of them and had them for years each and they looked the same as when I bought them.

I cannot think of a purchase that I have been this happy with in a long time. The watch provides me tons of data. It is easy to use and functions perfectly. I like ti far better than my Apple Watch. This is a winner.

I switched from the Apple Watch Ultra 2 to the Garmin Fenix 8, and I’ve been extremely impressed. The battery life alone is a huge upgrade, especially if you’re active and don’t want to charge your watch every day.
The screen is beautiful, the interface is smooth and easy to use, and the built-in flashlight is one of those features I didn’t know I needed until I had it. It’s genuinely useful.
Overall, the Fenix 8 feels like a true fitness and adventure watch, not just a smartwatch. I loved my Apple Watch Ultra 2, but the Fenix 8 has been the better fit for how I train and use a watch every day.

Great upgrade from other brands.
I was gifted the Fenix 8 for fathers day/birthday little over a month ago, and I must say being my first Garmin watch I do not think I will be going to back to the other brand I had for many years. From the screen, battery life and multiple functions and coaching/summaries this watch is a workhorse and absolutely thrilled with its performance.

GREAT WATCH
I have been wearing the watch for about a year and have to say that is is amazing with lots of technology and as that is a fact, there are a couple of little snags that I’ve encountered, the watch sometimes gets unpaired and to pair again is some what bothersome, also te get from main screen to any activity, running, walking or any other takes about four clicks, also to get from main screen to timer or alarms also four steps, if you go backwards is the same 4 clicks, I wonder if some of those steps could be eliminated.
In general I am very satisfied with the watch, great instrument! CONGRATULATIONS ON A GOOD PRODUCT AND THANK YOU FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPRESS MY OPINION.

I upgraded from the Fenix 7, to the Fenix 8 AMOLED- I love it, clear screen, tons more updates, an adjustable flashlight and so much more tech and tracking- While maintaining its durability and efficiency.

Love my Garmin
The watch is built extremely well and feels durable enough to handle demanding environments while still looking professional enough for everyday wear. The display is easy to read in bright sunlight, and the Garmin Connect app provides a tremendous amount of useful data and customization options.

I am obsessed with this watch. I’ve avoided wearable tech for so long but it really does everything. Pulse ox, ECG, steps, sleep, HR, HRV, any sport you can dream of. And I find myself on my phone so much less

My second Garmin watch coming from a forerunner before and this watch is amazing it literally makes you want to wear it because it tracks everything. The run programs are really good and I’ve just been following it like a running coach. It was expensive but feels pretty worth it.

Terrific watch!
Excellent display. Actual battery life for me is about 12 days. It's good looking (I have the black, stainless steel 47mm AMOLED) and captures and displays data effectively. Great watch.

Way better than my AWU
I decided to switch to the Garmin ecosystem away from an Apple Watch Ultra. I loved my AWU, and I had doubts if the Fenix 8 would be good enough since I use only Apple stuff. I was pleasantly surprised! I love the Fenix 8 better than I thought I would. The watch does everything I used my AWU for but does so much more for my general health and fitness goals. I find I dont miss my AWU at all. also, the Garmin Connect app is really well built. It’s easy to use, intuitive, and always works well. I can customize a number of things. The app displays are both informing and well formatted. The move to a Garmin Fenix 8 was a good decision. It also works well with my Apple iPhone and MacBook.

Best Garmin Watch I have owned so far
Fenix 8 Amoled is so amazing. I have been an MIP fan, but the Amoled was surprisingly such a great upgrade without a big compromise on battery life. Easily getting more than 14 days of battery life with the current watch. Can't be more happier

I am using the fenix since last approximately 13 years. Fenix 6 , fenix 7 saphire and now I have bought 2x fenix 8 pro . I am feeling mark diference between fenix 7 and fenix 8 pro. It is really wonderful and marvellous product as smart watch. I have to still discover its importance and usefulness when I will return back at home Islamabad Pakistan

The Sapphire Fenix 8 has blown me away in every category that matters. Garmin finally nailed the perfect balance of rugged durability and next‑level performance. The sapphire glass alone is worth the upgrade — it’s crystal‑clear, insanely scratch‑resistant, and still looks brand‑new no matter what I put it through.
Battery life is phenomenal. I’m talking days of real use with GPS, notifications, workouts, and maps running. The AMOLED display is bright and sharp in every lighting condition, and the UI feels smoother and more responsive than any previous Fenix generation.
I just finished a 10‑day scuba trip in Cozumel, and the Fenix 8 performed flawlessly from the first descent to the last safety stop. This watch is an absolute powerhouse underwater.
The dive tracking was incredibly accurate, the screen stayed bright and easy to read even in deeper, darker swim‑throughs, and the sapphire lens still looks brand‑new after dozens of entries, exits, and gear changes. Every metric—depth, NDL, ascent rate, water temperature—updated instantly and reliably.
On the trail... Tracking accuracy is rock‑solid. Maps load fast, the sensors are dialed in, and the watch never hesitates.
The Fenix 8 feels like a premium tool designed for people who actually use their gear hard — not a fashion accessory pretending to be an adventure watch.
If you want a watch that can handle anything you throw at it and still look incredible doing it, the Fenix 8 is the one. It’s easily the best multisport watch I’ve ever owned.

I bought this a month ago to upgrade from a different Garmin smartwatch. I entertained other smartwatches, even bought one only to return it - poor battery life, among other deficiencies. Returned it within a few weeks. Simply with Garmin there is no better option for durability, functionality and battery life.
