This robust multisport watch strikes an impressive balance between durability and everyday wearability, thanks to its premium titanium and sapphire crystal construction. Athletes and outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the exceptional 2-4 week battery life, which holds up even with heavy GPS use during activities. The bright AMOLED display remains readable in various conditions, while the hybrid button-touch interface ensures reliable control during workouts or wet activities. Beyond comprehensive fitness tracking, it offers practical outdoor tools like a built-in flashlight and detailed navigation features. While the extensive features mean a learning curve, users find the detailed health insights and training analytics invaluable for optimizing their performance and recovery. The watch handles everything from pool sessions to mountain trails without compromise, though some may find the smart features more basic compared to traditional smartwatches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Garmin watch Hello, I bought the Garmin 8 on February 1st and so far I think it's great. It has many features that the 7 didn't have. The presentations, graphics, screens, and above all the possibility of sending short messages when necessary is spectacular, wherever you are. I think it was a necessary innovation, although I still have my 7 XPRO Solar. Congratulations on the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of the line. Top choice. I've been a Garmin user for years and they just keep outdoing their previous models. The Fenix 8 is no exception. Comfortable, fully featured, and worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like this watch I've had it a month, swithing from an Apple Watch. I was worried because I am in the mac ecosystem with an iPhone, iPad, and Mac. But it integrates smoothly, no hassle at all. Very accurate fitness tracker (treadmill, hiking, rower). AND- It intergrates with my Garmin Chart plotter and Force Current kayak motor, so I can control my fishing kayak with my watch..... I like the watch a lot, looks good, a long time between charges. Very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Clean and Leaves no Stone unturned As a 6 foot four male I love this watch. It doesn’t feel too big for me. The features are super clean. I don’t feel like over informed. I actually like a lot of the information that it gives to me. I like the way that I’m able to customize it it does not feel too heavy on my wrist or big. I used the flashlight feature more than I thought I would especially the red one at night. I don’t like receiving texts on my watch so it was nice to be able to turn that off. I do like the Wallet feature. I like not having to go to my phone to get a very beautiful graph on where I am in my running and training so overall really great watch very happy to have made this purchase. This review was left with voice recorder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money I’ve been using a Fenix watch for many years. At age 76 I questioned whether it was worth upgrading from my Fenix 5. After daily use for the past month I’ve found the additional features were well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! Love my new Fenix 8. Just upgraded from the 6. The screen is so easy to read. I love the touch screen - it's just as sensitive as my iPhone screen. I thought the flash light was going to be gimmicky - but it actually works great reading menus in dark restaurants and finding my way in the dark. Battery life is crazy. I am on day 18 of the first charge and still says I have 31% remaining. I used to get 6-7 days out of my old 6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use--accurate. I've lived with my Fenix 8 for about 8 months now. It's proven to be easy to use and has some great, "didn't know I'd use that" features like the flashlight and find my phone chime.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feature packed watch This is an amazing watch with many advanced features. I would highly recommend it based on the longevity of the battery, brightness of the screen and user interface to anyone looking for an industry leading smartwatch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent After using an Apple Watch for over a decade, I like this one. My Apple Watch's ability to monitor my pulse rate when working out is always a challenge for me.The Garmin watch has now resolved the issue.Additionally, the run's accuracy is superior to that of the Apple Watch.I also enjoy the statistics on the watch and the Garmin Connect after working out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dependable, rugged, life saving I got this shortly after it's release in October of 2024. I have worn it everyday since buying it. I've gotten many compliments on it. The features alone are worth it. This watch actually helped save my life. I use the GPS tracking for dirt bike rides daily. I've had multiple close calls on my bike, but this watch was able to provide help to me from the gps, flashlight, and body monitoring vitals. Although it doesn't take blood pressures it was able to show HR, RR, and BPM out of range when I became extremely dehydrated. Showed the way out of remote areas when turned around. The flashlight is perfect and lit my way out of the mountains when my other lights failed. The battery life alone is worth more than any other watch I have tried. I wish it had a few more features for text. Eg. talk to text or write to text. The voice calling failed on mine maybe a function disabled but it's still great. It helped me identify the sources of stress in my life too. There are so many features I don't use. If you question its worth. Don't. It's dependable, rugged, life saving, and lasts for weeks while using GPS, the led light, and texting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long-time Garmin customer. I have been a long-time Garmin customer with many watches going back to the Fenix 3. I have been happy with all, and now that I have both Enduro 3 and the Fenix 8. Both watches are excellent, and I use them at various times for my daily needs. However, the Fenix 8 offers the most capabilities for what I hoped a smartwatch would be during my daily use. The AMOLED is excellent, and mapping is crisp. The build quality is superb, and I do not worry about damage to any part of the smartwatch. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a watch that can literally do it all and then some. The other great thing about Garmin is that they still offer updates to my previous watches, so I can say that all my previous watches still work well and have maintained great battery and functionality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Features not just a watch. I got this as a gift about 3 weeks ago. NI really love it. I also have a Fenix3 HR, but is one takes it to the top of the hill. So many more features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Out of the ashes comes the Fenix I use the watch primarily for MTBing. I do walk daily and recently have used it to scuba dive. The display was bright and easy to read underwater, the compass was very nice and the alarm for ascending too fast was audible and visually awesome. If you are an outdoors or underwater enthusiast it is a happy blend of features. I also like that I can change the display colors and styles to match my personality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's very bright. I already have the solar edition and wanted to purchase the AMOLED edition as well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade from Fenix 6 The basic function is the same as Fenix 6, but GPS and HR accuracy appears improved, an LED light is added and several additional functions are added, This is all in addition to the AMOLED screen with twice the resolution and vivid color that now adds pictures to push notifications. Oh, and the speaker / microphone and touch screen plus the buttons still work as before. It seems to me a quite a few smallish improvements that I really like. I just had to decide to spend the money, and I'm glad I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garmin‘s best watch yet! I have owned Garmin watches since the Fenix 6. The newest.Fenix 8 is incredible. I find it hard to exceed its abilities. Including the fact that it is my back up scuba diving computer. I wouldn’t wear anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Garmin is Locked In The Fenix 8 has helped motivate me to continue my passion for running and personal improvement. At 53, I’m still getting Personal Best runs following the Garmin recommended training runs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Screen Quality Screen clarity and brightness are phenomenal. Watch functions are smooth, fast and very responsive to both button and touch actions. Battery life is great, daily activity tracked and took 20 days to get down to 30%.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best I've Used I have had a total of four Apple Watches. The last was an Ultra, with the promise of better battery life. While this was true for the first year, it wasn't for the remaining three. My Fenix has exceeded every expectation i had, from battery life to health metrics. Even better - I can wear it when I do a boxing workout or training session. This was not possible with Apple Watch, as every one registered a punch as a fall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Sport / Everyday watch love this Watch ! I use it 24-7 Great for sports , notifications etc

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade I have had this for about a month and it is the third generation I've own over the years. This is a must have if you currently have any other model. It is brighter and has a better response during physical activity than the last models.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Around Great Watch I’ve had the Fenix 8 for about a month. I had a Garmin Instinct 2 solar before and decided to upgrade and get the Fenix. It has been worth it. It maps extremely well on outdoor runs and tracks everything you could possibly need. The amount of features this watch has is amazing. I’ve used it on walks, runs, treadmill runs, hiking, and hunting and it has worked perfectly. Of course with Garmin, the battery life has been great. I definitely recommend this watch.
