Didn't know what I was missing
I have had this watch for about a month and pleasantly surprised! I have had an apple watch for 5 years (an Ultra for the last 3) and just assumed the Garmin watch would be no better. Boy was I wrong! The battery life difference alone is worth the switch. Now I can actually wear the watch while I sleep and get sleep data instead of charging my watch every night. The flashlight - especially the red light feature - is awesome. Finally, the ability to integrate the watch with my marine electronics is the icing on the cake!

I’ve been wearing this watch for about three weeks. I’m getting to learn it. So many features. I haven’t synced it to my Garmin Boat Electronics. I can’t wait for that. So far so good. Really glad I got this.

Best Watch Ever!
Bought this Garmin watch for myself as an early Christmas gift I've been playing around with it and it does everything that I needed to do for all of my boating needs and for work. Highly recommend for anybody who works in the Marine industry. I test out all of our Garmin stuff that is compatible with the products that we sell and use on our boats. I highly recommend this product!

Quatix 8*
The watch is the most complete watch I have owned as a mariner. The boat app, tides, wind and ireach all met my expectations. Would like to see better marine weather especially winds intigrated in the phone. Currently tide stations are limited as to the number you can save would like to see more availabilty to add stations.

It has great features such as it connects to the chart plotters and autopilot and both can be remote controlled from the watch. Fusion audio system can also be controlled from the Quatix 8.
The screen buttons to control the chart plotter and autopilot are quite small and difficult to control through those buttons (see picture) . The old Quatix 7 have bigger screen buttons and are easier to control.
Overall the Quatix 8 it is a great watch.

Great watch!
I had the Quantix 7 and loved the watch, but it didn't include an ECG feature, so I decided to purchase the Epix Pro instead. Once I heard that the Quantix 8 was being released, I knew I had to have it. As an avid boater, I really appreciate all the additional marine apps it offers.

Quatix 8--- Best Garmin Ever
I have owned a Vivoactive, Fenix 5 and Fenix 6S. The Quatix is levels above those watches. (The Fenix series watches were great by the way). My Quatix replaced the 6S. Seamless integration and transfer. Still learning about the new features, but for Garmin users, the basic operation out of the box was easy.

A great fitness watch
This is my fourth Garmin Fenix watch and I have really enjoyed all of them. I love the new Amoled screen on my new quatix 8 but do wish the battery life was just a little bit better after comparing it to my Garmin Fenix 7X solar.

I have used Garmin products for more than 25 years and Have used the activity/watches since they started producing them. I moved form a Fenix6XPro to this Quatix8, the transition and data movement was very smooth, learning curve minimal. I especially like the enhanced health features. Occasionally it will lose connection with the smart phone, but it finds it way back. I like the Amoled display. I have not had a chance to try out more of the features, but I look forward to seeing how they perform.

Great features but still lacking flexibility.
I bought it 3 months ago and this is the second watch. The first one stopped working and was replaced by Garmin.
Not as intuitive as IWatch. Garmin wins due to navegation features or those of us with boats.
I am not a golfer but I cannot remove golf and golf maps from my garmin!
Would I recommend? Only if you own a boat. I am a bike enthusiast and I prefer Apple over this one.
Too thick and bulky
Expensive for what it does.
Hopefully in a years term Garmin will come up with a better watch. Tip for Garmin, please use AI to help design a better watch and to add AI features on it.

There’s a lot to like, but where have all the sail
I got this to replace a Quatix 7. The screen is better, the battery life is really good, but selecting various modes is more complex and all the sailing functions seem to have been replaced by diving functions.
As a sailor who doesn’t dive it’s somewhat of a disappointment.

Great watch weak support and hard to set up
I have tried to set this up and it’s a constant struggle. I have called Garmin and while the person on the phone couldn’t help me when they transferred me I got disconnected. There has to be an easier way to help us set this watch up to our liking.

Brand New and It came with a problem
2 weeks a go bougth but camen with a problem dont know if is software or hardware, the GPS got lost when you are running for 30mn or more moves the arrow to the factory in USA, got 2 other models FENIX 8 and TACTIX 8, in this one the battery run out really quick 6 days was the most can use the watch
