Easy, Compact, and Efficient!
The packaging was easily removed. The instructions were easy and installation did not take too long. I had to make a modification because the windows in my library building aren't as wide as those in my house but it was no problem. The unit cools my 400+ square foot building nicely!

A gem!
This ac is a gem. South Texas heat was crippling our 10 year old system. This has saved the day. Install was easy. The unit is heavy but the wheels make it easy to move around. I’m getting one for every room. Love it!

Blissfully cool on day one

Finally, some A/C!
We have an older house (mid-1930s) with the windows to match. It meant we couldn’t have window units upstairs in the un-insulated attic rooms. Found this unit, popped the hose into the window and viola! A/C in the summer months!

Exactly what I needed.
Kept us from having to cancel a vacation because of an last minute central A/C outage in our home. We were going to have to cancel because our cats were staying in the house while we were gone. Works well enough to cool down our living room/dining room area during a normal 100 degree plus summer day in Phoenix.

Another Excellant GE Product
This portable air conditioner performs as presented by GE and exceeded our expectations since this was our first purchase of a portable air conditioner. It is easy to set up and use right out of the box. When not needed, it is easy to roll and store in a closet. Keeps us cool!
This machine has worked well for us so far. It has been a very hot summer in Massachusetts and so far, this machine has done the trick. My only issue is the noise, although it is slightly less noisy than the one we replaced with this one.
