Best portable a/c unit I've ever owned
First unit was defective and had to be returned. GE and Wayfair made the return and replacement with a new unit easy. New one works great! Best portable a/c unit I've ever owned. Great functionality and flexibility. Adequately cools my 320 ft2 shop with 10-foot ceilings.

A Good A/C
A well-built unit, sleek design but heavy, would be difficult to move if not for the recessed casters and hand hold notches on the sides. A washable air intake filter on the back is very easy to remove for cleaning. I installed it just in time for a string of 90Deg days and it actually could make the room chilly if I wanted! And the unit has not produced any condensation.
The 3 fan speeds have a good flow range between low to high. Sound level-fan only: 52dB to 62dB @ 6ft., mostly from just the volume of air being moved. In Air Conditioner (Cool) mode 60dB at low fan and 62dB at high fan.
Comes with all the necessary hardware to install, and an IR remote which only works line of sight, which is fine if there isn't any furniture in the way; however, I prefer to use the touch sensitive control panel on the top. Other slick features are the motorized outlet door with a swing mode which oscillates to help move the air around the room.
All in all, I'm quite happy with this A/C and feel it will last for a long time.

Easy Peezy sleazy
So far so good, set up was easy connections were easy and right as of the moment it is blowing out clean crisp cold air. I’ve only own this for a day, but as of right now I am more than happy. Looking forward to having a cool garage during the hot summer months Down here in Southwest Florida. I highly recommend this machine at the moment and typically you can’t go wrong with a product with the GE logo on it.

Cools our 23 x 12 ft room off with ease.
The portable air conditioner works great. Our bedroom is 23 x 12 ft. It quickly cools our bedroom off and we typically turn the unit off before we go to sleep because A) our room is cold and we don't need it on anymore and B) the unit is loud which makes it difficult to sleep.
The two downsides: It's loud and it triggers our fuse 33% of the time I initially turn it on.

Perfect for our 17' x 12' Living Room
Loving this portable A/C, it cools down our whole living room. We had a rough start at first as it was pulling too much power from the outlet in our living room. An electrician helped us in getting it connected correctly. So make sure you know what the rating is on the outlet you're planning to use; and if there are a lot of appliances already connected to that circuit. Our living room is about 17' x 12' and this unit does a great job at cooling it down even though we have to open doorways.

This one worked right out of the box! However, the first one did not and was exchanged.
Does a good job of cooling and I like all the choices, especially the tilt function.
I am especially pleased with the total lack of condensate pan drainage needed, so far.
This was the feature I was concerned the most about and have been pleasantly surprised.
