I don't like a lot of buttons and whistles on any appliance because I will never use them. It doesn't seem to dry the dishes as well as the one I had before but that is not a problem. Installation was fast and the installer and his daughter were very nice. The noise level is about average. I live alone so the capacity is just fine for me and I only wash the dishes one time a week. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and hope it continues to meet my needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GE Dishwasher Review Simple use. Use the 1 hour wash the most. Like the option/ability not to use the drying mode. Can turn on or off the drying mode. I usually just wash the dishes then let them air dry or wipe them off myself. Items in the dishwasher are not soak and wet after the wash cycle is over. Dishwasher is quieter than my old one. It is not as load as I thought it would have been. You can hear it running though. I didn't need the installation kit as there is a hard copper water line and I had hose clamps at my house that could have been used. Wish the installation kit was returnable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low budget advantage After install we test run the washer for leak testing. During the test cycle we noticed that for a 55db noise it was quiet for that level and was quieter than the whirlpool that it replaced. We are satisfied with this choice on the budget we had with a medium style home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice, just as expected. We love our new dishwasher. We installed it ourselves and had no issues. It looks great with the other GE appliances we purchased, and is so quiet! It is not smudge resistant so that is something to consider if you have small children but the sturdy handle prevents us from touching the stainless too often.
