It fits!
Works just like my old one, and fits in the limited alcove space. Very happy. One note... The lint trap was incredibly difficult to remove at first, I had to have my daughter help me. We have used the dryer enough that it has loosened up and now I can remove it on my own.

Actually Works
I had a GE dryer before replacing it with this one and it worked great. Initallly I went with other brands when I replaced my old dryer and was less than satisfied with the output of they dryers. I ended up exchanging for this dryer which is very similar to my old one and have been very satisfied. It dries my clothes in one cycle (albeit, the cycle is very long, at least 2 hours or more) but I don't have to babysit the dryer to make sure the clothes are dry. It is the closest thing to an old fashioned dryer that I have found and love it. If only the washing machine had a bigger capacity, it would be the perfect set.

Just right
It was time to purchase a new Dryer when our 12-year-old dryer Eco Dry setting malfunctioned. We looked at several GE Dryers as well as other Brands and GE was the best fit for our needs. We didn't match to our GE 5.0 cu " Profile Washer as we only need the basic functions for Drying. After install we ran a load of Sheets, and the Dryer worked well as well as a Parka on a second load. We liked everything although it took some time to understand settings. The 7.2 cu ' capacity is exactly the size we need and have used on our previous Dryers. It allows us to Dry any size load when needed. One thing that we liked is the Buzzer setting. Our old Dryer had one setting and was hard to hear when it went off. Although we got 12 years on our old Dryer we hope to get as many years as we can and hopefully it will be 12 years.

Great purchase
Very pleased with this dryer. Dries and fluffs clothes beautifully. My only con is that the door needs a little harder nudge to close than I have had with other dryers I’ve owned. I just needed to get accustomed to this but I am very happy with this and washer I bought to complete this set.

Great buy and does its job
Love that this washer actually does what it is supposed to do. Wash my clothes and quickly too in comparison to my old front loader garbage. The buttons and knobs on this machine are very straightforward. I love that the buttons are actual buttons and knobs and not an electronic board. I had the fancy front loader and it was trash and I do not recommend them to anyone. This machine is simple straight forward and works great on clothes towels to heavy blankets. My family runs at least 1 to 2 loads of laundry a day! This machine fits the bill and is reliable. Yes it is louder than my old machine as some have said but it works!
