New upright freezer
First full day with my new GE upright freezer and so far so good !!! I upgraded from a chest freezer so it is sooooooo very nice to see everything and not have to dig to the bottom !!!

So far this freezer has performed exceptional it replaced my 20yr old GE that seemed to run all the time.its very quiet .would definitely recommend this unit.PC Richards came through big time on price dealings with salesman and delivery

Initial Thoughts
perfect size, well made, quiet, good inside lighting, shelf space adequate. Cooled down fairly quickly.
Now we have to see how it runs over time. Have had good luck with GE in the past.
should be cheap to run Large enough for the 2 of us.

Amazing freezer!
This freezer is great for our family. We struggled with a small French door freezer, and now we're able to buy in bulk, freeze meal prep containers, and freeze extra food that would've otherwise gone bad. It's very quiet and keeps cool easily. We also love the upright shelves, so we don't have to hurt our backs bending forward or digging though piles of food. We haven't noticed a big increase on our energy bill either, so that's a bonus! The only point I'd have to take off is for the lock. Unfortunately, the lock (not seal) is slightly off center, which causes it to not lock properly. However, we don't intend to transport it or lock it up for any reason, so I don't see a need to return. I highly recommend this freezer!

Fabulous Freezer.....too much dinging!
This freezer works great! We are using it in our basement. The only suggestion I would offer is to make the sound alert from constant when the door is open to more measured alert between sounds.

Perfect Freezer!
I'm a single woman who likes to cook and vacuum seal for the freezer. My side-by-side refrigerator/freezer did not have enough room so purchased a 14cf freezer for garage. No wasted space inside, door shelves, visible temperature gauge on outside with a beep alarm if the door is ajar or open for a long period of time. Love it!

Perfect Size
I was looking at replacing a large working 45-year-old Kenmore freezer for something frost free, energy efficient as I now am the only one in the household. I definitely needed a freezer as I needed the freezer space for my items and my dogs' frozen raw dog food. This freezer fit the bill perfectly, not too large and not too small. I really like the handle as it makes it easier for me to open and also the digital display.

Great Features and Size
Received new freezer to replace 16 year old one that was having issues. This GE garage ready upright freezer is spacious and well-designed, making it easy to organize and access frozen items, much better than a chest freezer. Appreciate the on the door digital temperature display, door alarm, and frost-free feature, which enhances convenience. Door can be difficult to open due to a strong seal, but strong seal is a good thing. Overall, the freezer meets expectations for reliable extra freezer space in the garage.

Excellent basic model
