Fantastic!
Installed today on Feb. 17; 2025. Happy with GE Quality.
My last GE 30” cooktop lasted 12 years. Replaced - direct drop in with the previous unit. Instead of four burners now we have five burners. Good improvement.

JEP5030DT1BB RADIANT COOKTOP - installed and working in less than an hour. Works perfect! Replacing an old GE profile unit that was 24 yrs old. 1 burner was just not working right and 1 other was on it's way out. So we upgraded to the 5 burner set up. They get HOT quick and I love the design. Whoohoo! Back to cooking again. Whew!

Great Appliance for the money!
I haven’t had this a long period of time, but it works really well so far. I have no complaints and every appliance I have in my kitchen is GE. I expect this cooktop to be the same level of excellent that I have received from my other appliances. P.s. if you are someone with arthritis, the knobs are easy to move so that’s one less thing you will have to be worried about. Wonderful appliance for the price!

Great cook top
It's amazing when you go from an older cook top to a new one. It heats up quickly and the low settings will stay low. The fast boil on this is seriously fast. I waited to write this review to give it a good test run. We like this cook top. It is fantastic.

Replacment cook top install.
Just picked up our new cook top today. It replaces a GE cook top we could no longer get replacment parts for. we self installed - it was very straight forward - we look forward to many more years of continued use.

GE five burner 30inch cooktop
This cooktop is a replacement for my old which came with my house. Turns out the old one was not installed properly! No gasket! My new GE cooktop has a power burner, an awesome feature! The lower power burner is awesome too! The five burner design is great when cooking for a crowd. The lock for the controls is an excellent safety feature.

A great product overall!
So far I absolutely love this stove. I have never had a stove with knobs on the top before. They were always on the back so it will take some getting used to, but the placement of the burners definitely takes their location into consideration and so far they don't get in the way. It also helps the younger "chefs" in the house remember to put the long handles towards the side or back so they dont have any accidents. I plus I wasn't anticipating but hey, whatever works right. The glass top heats to the right temp that is consistent each time. The unique placement of the burners works so well for making sauce on the weekends. With the larger burner in the middle it prevents the red sauce from splattering and staining our counterop. It also helps to make sure the exhaust fan prevents any staining on our white cabinets. We haven't used the melt feature yet but we look forward to it. If I was to change 1 thing, and this is very petty, it would be the knobs. I wish they were a silver color metal instead of black. We did lose the top drawer under the oven because of the depth, but that's not a big deal. We turned them into a large flip out for dirty spoons to sit while cooking so they don't end up on the counter. It helps. If I have anything to add in the next few months I'll be sure to do so.

Amazing stove top
Beautiful stove top, turn on stove and immediately gets hot which is very nice. Very easy to clean, love the fact with 5 burners and have the option to lock burners. Just incase accidently turned on burner while cleaning or kids.

Great versatile stove top!
The stove top is attractive, reasonably price, and has performed. With 5 burners, I can cook multiple items at the same time. The size of each burner allows a large array of pots being cooked at the same time. I shopped around and this stove top was an excellent value!

Good, sturdy and reliable.
Good sound product. Installation was simple, and product has been working well since day one (1). No cleaning issues, or scuff marks shown after regular cleaning. All burners have been used several times, no problems. We've had it for over 80 days and overall impression is that is a well-made sturdy product.
