Stainless trimmed black 5 burner cooktop
Very nice fit in our kitchen as matches the black & stainless appliances & has a nice sleek look. Even though we don't have kids, appreciate the knobs must be pushed down to engage the burners. Love the versatile burner modes too. Pretty design.

Looking good and works great!!
Sleek looking cooktop that cleans easily and heats evenly! I love the power boil on my back burner. It is great especially when I make pasta or am boiling corn on the cob for our family barbecues. GE makes quality products that I have come to expect throughout the years I have owned them.

Amazing upgrade!
This was a replacement for a 4 burner GE stovetop. Fit perfectly in same opening and no additional countertop work was needed. Love the knobs and small burner big burner options. Love the 5 burners.

Meal prep game changer!
The days of drips and spills in the drip tray and the unit housing are gone! The glass cooktop is so much better looking than my old coil unit. The elements heat up so fast and the power boil feature is amazing. The five heating units streamline cooking time so much. I love the look of the dark glass combined with the stainless steel.

Exceeded my expectations!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my new GE 30" radiant cooktop installed a couple of days ago and I absolutely love it! GE products never disappoint! I had electric coil burners before and not only were they hard to clean around but they took so long to heat up. This smooth cooktop heats up so fast I cant believe it and cleaning it is a breeze..even after spills and boil overs...just a quick wipe up after it cools and its good to go. I now have five burners instead of four and two of the burners have a dual ring element that lets you use it as a large or small burner...whatever you need..one of those dual ring burners also has a power boil setting to really speed up boiling a pot of water. That feature comes in really handy! There are also two burner features on the small burners that i really like too. One of the small burners has a keep warm setting and another one has a melt setting....for melting things like chocolate or other delicate foods without scorching. I love the versatility of this stovetop! It does everything I will ever need it to do. It has a protected stainless steel edge that is really attractive and blends it in with my other appliances. There is a safety lock too so children cant accidently turn it on and all the indicator lights tell me at a glance what is in use. The control knobs are very intuitive and easy to learn to use quickly. I cant say enough about how much i love the way this cooktop looks....and functions!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you think of kitchen appliances, the GE brand rushes to the front of most people’s minds. We have a GE SS microwave too. When looking to replace our fridge soon, GE will definitely be considered. This cooktop is as beautiful as it’s functional. I love the “basicness” of this cooktop. No major bells and whistles, just a beautiful and high functioning cooktop. Now, the power boil feature is really neat. Quickly heat up food or boil water in minutes. The keep warm feature, that you’ll find everywhere else, is good to keep those additional items warm while you still cook. Most ppl find this cooktop very attractive and matches all other updated kitchen appliances. So, if you’re doing a kitchen refresh, or an complete overhaul, give this cooktop a shot. It won’t break the bank and the basic functions are easy to use without a ton of unnecessary bells and whistles that never get used. Plus - with the GE name you know you’re getting a quality product!

Fast heat up!
Love having 5 burners instead of the standard 4. Took a little maneuvering to get the stovetop to fit since my previous one was 1/16th inch bigger, but a piece of metallic trim fixed that. Nice to have two of the burners that can be heated only to a smaller or larger circle. Lots of flexibility with this cooktop.

So Many Burner Options!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GE has been my go-to for kitchen appliances, and this model does not disappoint. For one thing the safety features have improved: 1) The last cooktop we had was GE, and we were happy with it for many 10+ years until a cooking accident chipped the edge of the glass, and it was very sharp. I'm happy to say that this GE model has a protected stainless edge, so no worries of the edge breaking with this one. 2) A big plus is that the knobs are a little hard to turn, and the cooktop has a lock feature to keep the young kids safe.
The cooktop looks stunning and performs well. The burners start to heat up immediately...within a split second. It has taken me a bit of trial and error to get used to the controls and what setting to use for the burners. I recommend testing it out to see how high or low you need to set the knobs before cooking anything major. Now with 5 burners on this top I have so many options, including the feature that two of the burners have large/small burner options.
Installation was a bit more difficult than I had expected. The previous cooktop was a little bigger, and a gap of 1/16th of an inch was left on both sides of the top. The available cooktop conversion kit from GE was not big enough to cover this gap, so I had to create an attractive-looking alternative. I found some metal trim at the hardware store and installed it on both sides. This did the trick and looks nice. I was not pleased with the flimsy supports that were included with the cooktop, so I moved up the supports from the old cooktop. If this is your first cooktop you may want to find a stronger support for security. So, my advice is to plan ahead for these possible issues prior to removing any old cooktop so that you are ready to go!
