Great capacity and features
The upright freezer has good flexibility for shelving and has the nice glass shelves - better than the wire ones for sure. It is nice and bright inside the freezer so that will make finding things a bit easier. I like the visible freezer temperature setting on the door and the alarm that sounds when there is an issue with cooling or power failure. It does make some white noise when actively cooling but sometimes is totally silent. We have the freezer in a utility room so the low level white noise doesn’t matter to us. Looks like a solidly built product and has many great reviews which is one of the reasons we purchased this unit over many others. So far very happy with the purchase and look forward to many years of trouble free service.

Very Nice Convenient Features
I chose this particular model of GE upright freezer because of the many good reviews, the decent price, and some very convenient features. Some of these are conveniently located on the outside front of the freezer door which means you don't need to open the freezer to access them. These include temperature control, high temperature alarm, door open alarm, and turbo freeze. The glass shelves, top drawer and 2 large bottom drawers are very handy, as well as the bins on the inside of the door. This freezer has a decent size capacity for a garage freezer without being too large. It's very quiet and has a much better than average energy rating.

Love the layout
It got cold so very quickly. I love the door shelves and the deep drawers too. The shelves are so easy to keep clean!
Found out not to shove it too close to the wall as the temperature alarm made us aware of our mistake. Really like it!

I've only had this freezer a few weeks. It replaced a much older one and so I find I greatly appreciate the interior lighting and I like the shelves/drawers inside. I have a much better idea of what I have "in stock" with this freezer. In the largest opening I have added a plastic milk crate for some bagged things, but might not always keep it there, depending on what I have on hand. I like the lit display on the outside about the temp on the inside.

best little big freezer
I got rid of my old freezer because it was collecting so much ice everywhere and used a lot of engery. I love this new freezer no more icing up the shelves, the temperature stays constant and I have noticed a huge difference in my electric bill. It is quiet and has a decent capacity.

Frozen in love!
I love my new freezer. It’s quiet, energy efficient, has plenty of room for my extra freezer items I like to keep at the ready! The pull out shelving is convenient to reach items at the back and the door shelving is very useful! It also tells you the inside temperature on outside of door. Couldn’t be happier!

Fantastic new unit
Bought this to replace a 30+ year old unit that constantly built up ice and had horrible wire shelves. This unit is bigger and more efficient. I love the temperature control and the low noise.

Love the Shelves and Pull Out Bins!
We are very happy with the purchase of this new 17.3 Cu.Ft. freezer. We specifically like the fact that this model has glass and plastic shelves and pull out bins. It fits nicely in our garage and we were able to easily store all of our frozen items.

Love the size. Great features.
Love the size and space. This replaces a 25 year old small chest freezer. Take up the same floor space but over twice the room. Now with the glass shelves, 3 clear storage bins and 4 door bins we will be able to easily find everything. Energy efficient.

Great space and nice features!
Freezer is better than I anticipated. I love how sturdy the shelves are. They are nice and deep, holding food easily and stacking nicely. I wasn't sure if I was going to like an upright freezer for our meat, but I am glad we got this one. It holds a surprisingly large amount of food!
I decided to get it because of the alarm and locking features. We have had several issues in the past with food going bad because our freezers getting unplugged. I will say the alarm isn't as loud as I hoped, but at least if someone goes out to the garage they would notice it. With the lock I can keep the kids out if I choose.
