Works fine but may have longevity issues
The filter works great but doesn't last as long as I thought it would. My wife says we use more water than most people so I will monitor the longevity more closely for the next filter.

Filter replacement
This is the 2nd filter I have purchased for my refrigerator. The GE website is easy to navigate - if I forget where to go there’s a QR code on my fridge that takes me where I need to go on the website. Removal of old filter is easy. Installing new filter is just as easy. Directions for replacing are easy to follow.

Easy to install
I have been using the GE refrigerator water filter XWFE since I bought my GE refrigerator more than 2 years ago. I never had any problem installing it every six months. The filter replacement process has always been easy for me. My refrigerator also has a filter replacement indicator light that tells me when the filter needs to be replaced. The first time I had to replace the filter was when the water flow had decreased, which is also an indication that it’s time to replace the filter.
