Easy to install
I have been using the GE refrigerator water filter XWFE since I bought my GE refrigerator more than 2 years ago. I never had any problem installing it every six months. The filter replacement process has always been easy for me. My refrigerator also has a filter replacement indicator light that tells me when the filter needs to be replaced. The first time I had to replace the filter was when the water flow had decreased, which is also an indication that it’s time to replace the filter.

Water tastes good !
Assuming it's working fine. Water tastes good. Clear. no problem with it! What can I say...hoping it's doing what it's supposed to.

Perfect fit

The real OEM filter makes a world of difference. I was duped into buying what I thought was a GE filter and it wasn't. This replacement from GE just cleaned things up n all is back to normal. Thanks and beware of the fakes that make you "think" they are the real GE

Excellent filter
We just had our well water test positive for Coliform. We retested to be sure and it was positive again. I also had them retest the water that filters through the fridge and there was no contamination. We are treating our well but wow this was good news. We do also have an iron filter and water softener in the basement but I believe it was the fridge filter that saved us.
