Beautiful Chest Freezer
I'm just giddy! This freezer is nicer than I could even imagine. I have wanted a GE freezer for a long time and bought this from the internet. Your description did not describe it very well. It is so much nicer than I even hoped for. It is lighted, It has 5 baskets- none of this is mentioned. I never did find our what "garage ready" meant.

Great family freezer!
Our 65' deep freezer just got installed a few days ago and we are already loving having the extra food storage space! The baskets inside are a huge plus as we are able to put smaller packaged items in them and not lose them in the bottom of the freezer. We love the temperature indicator light and the locking feature that ensures the kiddos are kept safe and unable to leave it open.

Works as it’s supposed to.
Great so far. It’s quiet and runs a constant temperature. Alarm and power outage lights work well. It could use more storage inside rather than having to pay extra for it. Pleased overall.

I just got The freezer and have it installed in my garage very pleased with the quality of workmanship, locking device and freezer baskets. It would be nice to have the divider and two additional baskets but it’ll work good for my application.

Exceptional freezer
This unit was bought to to replace a smaller older GE. It gave me great service, we just out grew it. I must say the new one has proven to exceed my expectations. The sliding baskets are my favorite feature. I added 2 extra. This unit is very well made and performs flawless.

Big volume, easier organization.
Only have had the freezer for a few weeks, but so far it is working well and I love the big capacity. We buy large volumes of meat and preserve veggies for the winter, so this freezer has made a huge difference. I want the energy efficiency of a top-door chest freezer vs a stand-up, but organization is normally such a challenge - this freezer helps by having the two levels of sliding removable baskets. The only downside has been how heavy it is and that there aren't wheels on one end like some models have, but we were able to install it with two people without much issue.
