Washer/Dryer combo
I absolutely love my new washer/dryer combo and pedestal. It has fantastic features such as laundry soap & softener self dispenser, no dryer vent needed, and it runs off 110 outlet. There's no need to wait up late at night for the washer to stop to throw the clothes in the dryer. And I have so much extra space in my laundry room!!!

Pet hair removal
This appliance has made it very clear that our old appliances were lacking. SO much pet hair is coming off in every single load. Keep the filter clean, and the clothes come out dry. Keep an eye on for sales!

Great machine!
It definitely is a great machine. You just have to learn how to use it properly. Make sure you are emptying the lint trap routinely. Definitely need to download the app as it gives you functionality from your phone like knowing when your laundry will be ready, if it’s set in the drum for 60 minutes, you can also add more dry from your app if you forgot to do so on the machine. We like that it tells us when the laundry will be ready in five minutes, when it’s ready, 60 minute reminder. It’s nice that you can also just do a wash cycle or a dry cycle in case you have delicates that you don’t want to dry. We no longer have to set a timer for our laundry as we get the reminders on the app. We would highly recommend this machine! This combo unit also saved us lots of space in our laundry room and it’s ventless. We have a sitting area right outside where the dryer vent used to be, and we continuously had to clean that area because of the lint and also if you were sitting there in the summertime, it was very hot when the dryer was working. Win- win!!!

Great features!
Favorite features "no load transfer," remote appliance notifications, monitoring with controls to add more dry time, easy access/clean dual stage lint filter, maintenance reminders help you keep your combo in shape, compartments are easy to remove/replace for cleaning and you can save "my settings" for frequently chosen cycle. I hope to add the 5.5 cu. ft. capacity over my 4.8 so I will be abl to launder larger items. I wish it had a soak setting. After the drying cycle ends, water is still flowing past the front window. When I open the door sometimes an item shifts forward and gets wet again. Small items, such as a single sock, can also slip into a pocket of the door gasket during the wash and remain wet or even unwashed. It's frustrating to have to rewash those items and keep track of separated pairs of socks. The GE Profile Washer/Dryer only handles loads made up of similarly weighted items. Given a small load of socks combined with two oversized bath towels causes the machine to go out of balance. Redistributing the load doesn't help—the only solution is to separate the loads, which defeats the purpose of having a combo unit to save time. Thankfully my unit is in the closet because I think it is a bit loud. 00000es are a little damp at the end of the drying cycle and that drying times seem very long. Overall, I still prefer it over my old twoseparate units!

Great Features.
I like everything about my Combo except for one thing. I think that you need to rethink the lint filter system. It takes too long to clean lint from all the different places. I love being able to place my laundry inside, shut the door, set the menu choices and know that it will continue from washing to drying without any more effort from me. No more stinky clothes because I forgot to put them in the dryer!

The new normal
This thing is fantastic. Not having to worry about swapping the laundry is a game changer. The water hammering is a little loud, even with arrestors. But that is a minor inconvenience.

very complicated
This project is very complicated. Although we're getting to know it better it would've been very helpful to have seen a demonstrate. The model was not plugged in at the store and the people who delivered it were only delivery people. Perhaps you could have a quarterly meeting of all the people who purchased such a product at the store and have some there to demonstrate all the features. At this point, I'm not sure we're getting the most out of all the features that it has to offer.

Drying longer than needed
I have used this product for about 3 years and love it. I have recently stop the drying cycle 10-20 minutes before the end and each time my clothes were perfectly dry. And I don't mean slightly humid. GE should add a less dry setting in the next software/firmware update.

So far, so good!
We've only had the washer/dryer working a couple of weeks, but so far so good. It is quiet, efficient, and the larger capacity is very helpful with large loads: sheets, towels, etc.

I have researched the GE Profile 4.8 CU. Ft capacity Ultrafast Washer and Dryer Combo and was very impressed with all the time saving features. I hope to come back after a couple of weeks and give a thorough review of this appliance.

Created a function laundry in a small space
We purchased the GE Profile to save space avoid upgrading electrical and cutting holes in walls for venting standard dryers. We were downsizing our home to a place almost 50% smaller and needed to think outside of the box while keeping within a budget for the whole remodel project.
We have now used it for 18 months and have no complaints.

Happier than expected !
Bought this combo to save space , use 110 voltage and have space for a laundry tub in place of a 2nd machine . Have had it now for 2 months and like this all I one more each time I use it . Clothes come out dry but not baked to where towels are rough on the skin .
We searched the other two makers , whirlpool and LG and liked a few things about the GE such as the better door gasket , controls and the GE name . We did not find the issue with lint filter not catching all the lint maybe because we got the new lint filter design with ours . I don't know how the old lint filter would have not performed without modifications ? We did buy the 3 year extended warranty for peace of mind just in case . Overall I give it 5 stars

Awesome Machine
We have had it for less than a month. So far it has been fantastic. The capacity is huge! The washer gets our clothes a lot cleaner than our old machine did. The features like "jeans" mode or "king size comforter " mode are ideal. The fact that it only uses what is needed for soap is a plus too. I would definitely recommend.

Good decision
My first load was my handmade 100% cotton king size quilt. I am impressed! Turned out beautiful. 3.5 hour and back on the bed. Smells fresh and clean. When taken out of the machine it definitely felt damp but not for long. Amazing unit. I am computer challenged and it took a bit to set up wifi-but it has been completed. The size of this machine is a game changer for my tiny laundry room and I love the Jade color. It is so quiet you don't know its running.

We love the technology as our laundry room is small and to vent our existing dryer the dryer hose must run up the wall and then 24 feet to vent outside. Our new unit not only gives us more

I actually enjoy doing laundry these days.
We are extremely satisfied with this combination unit. It allows us to simply load our laundry, set the cycle, and leave it unattended. Please ensure the filter is cleaned after each use. I am delighted with this product and will certainly recommend it to my family and friends.

Love our combo
Love our new combo. Follow the instructions and it’s great. You can only wash one big comforter at a time and you cannot mix different type of clothes or it will not dry. We love it though. Put your clothes in and go do other house chores. No need to switch clothes over!
