I still do not know why GE or any manufacture has to put Foam packing in hidden areas that only installers would know where it is. GE really packs their products. I installed the oven myself but i must of not found the mystery plastic because when i fired it up it smelled like burnt plastic. Found the plastic down under the pre installed burners.....All in all this oven is really nice and the wife loves the dual oven especially during holidays. I highly recommend this product!!

In less than a week, we have baked chicken in the convection oven, made stovetop popcorn, made French fries, and used the griddle for pancakes, fried eggs, and burgers. The griddle needs a good bit of oil, but the amount of fine grained control of the burners is phenomenonal. I hope this is a great start to many years of family breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dinners!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great replacement and upgrade I spent a bit more and this is a major upgrade from the cooktop and wall oven. This is a fabulous choice. And fits the present decor. The knows feel great and I love how much control I have. Looking forward to making a home baked pizza again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time will tell So far so good. We have only had the range for a few weeks but have cooked a lot (we do that in our house) with it in that time. Very pleased with all of the features. Griddle heat is surprisingly even for a stove top griddle. Self cleaning feature on the oven works well. Burner sizes are great and cover all of our needs from a lot of power (canning), to simmering a small pan of sauce. Being so new, I cannot rate durability at this time. With this in mind, I would recommend this range to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best One Out There! I love this stove! I picked out this stove last summer after mine got fried in a power surge. I previously had a double oven, and now find that a must! Love the adaptability of the center burner (turns into a griddle). And the functionality is easy to work with, and intuitive to use. When I moved and had to buy a stove, it was a no-brainer to buy the exact same one because I love it!
