Excellent Range
I love this Range.
Even and consistent heat
easy to clean
three speed exhaust fan works Great!
We have been using the range for over 11 years (It was in the home when we bought it)
The top left corner broke when a large glass jar of sauce fell from the cabinet above and my wife tried to catch it but slammed it down with a lot of force (She Hulk).
we love this range so much we opted to replace it with the same make and model.

Flexible cooking configuration
After receiving a replacement for the defective cooktop, we had a chance to explore all the various configurations. The cooktop supports a wide range of pots and pans sizes. This lets a cook prepare different food types concurrently. Very useful tool in food preparation.

“Sticking with a Winner”
This is my second GE downdraft cooktop. I bought the fist one in 2010. It served well for 14 years until I dropped a heavy glass object on it. I kept using for about a year until some water dripped do into the long crack. My spouse told me I better get her new one just like it if iwanted her to continue preparing my meals. So here I am writing a review. This an excellent cook top that will provide with many years of service. It has been a beautiful addition to to our kitchen. My spouse and I love it. The profile line is of excellent quality and design. I don’t have to think twice about the purchase of this great product

Easy install, effective cooking, simple to clean.
The product is as advertised. The packaging was great with the styrofoam form allowing for unit to be secure when upside down for applying the edging tape. Having the romex power cable already attached spared having to open up the unit's inner wiring (contrast that with the ancient JennAir I was replacing). The modular connection for the blower likewise made assembly so much easier than the JennAir. As widely noted, the rectangular vent made connecting to existing duct work challenging. I had to use some flexible ducting that might impair the exhausting a tad, but I'm OK with the result. One boo-boo: the nut supplied to attach the blower were too small for the mounting bolts but I found in my workshop some that fit. Looks great. I've used a new aluminum based griddle over the left burners and got good results. A new aluminum based ridged grill over the pot boiler let me prepare a medium rare steak very nicely. Cleaning has been easy. I'm pleased.

I’m still a little skeptical of the long term durability. However it looks great, with great features. Heats up very quickly the option to partially use the right front eye is ingenious. The bridge option will also be useful.

lasted for years plus looks beautiful
We had our first GE Profile Stovetop for 21 years. Just bought the same one because we did a kitchen remodel. Our first one was still working fine and donated it to Habitat for Humanity. We needed a center downdraft and there are very few on the market.
