Great Features and Color
Great Features and design. Significant advancement in technology as opposed to our 28.5 years old GE 30-inch down-draft cooktop, that was still completely functional! However, the wife wanted to upgrade due to wear and tear. We slowly approached the use of the new cooktop because of the advanced features that were not familiar with due to the age of the old cooktop. We love the advancement to futuristic of the new cooktop!

Love it - except for a few little things
Love it - except for a few little things:
1) there is only a "hot" light for left and right - does not tell me which of the two burners on left (or right) is the hot one
2) a simple boil-over - even just water - takes alot of scrubbing and scraping to make cooktop shiny and smooth again

Fits our needs
Heats fast and evenly. Fan is quiet on the low setting and reasonable on the medium and high settings.Nice appearance, but not a fan of the knobs. Wish this model had touch controls. The downdraft unit takes up less space than our previous downdraft. Versatile burner options.

Hard to clean
The black glass is very hard to clean even with the product that was left. It streaks and I wish it was another color.
I do like the smooth glass compared to my previous cooktop that had a border around the edge.
If you have suggestions on the best way to clean, I’m all ears.

I guess once I get used to it, I may like it. I would rather have a coil burner stove, but those are obsolete and I couldn’t get parts for my old one.. So I ended up with this glass cooktop burner/stove. I’m grateful to have it because I was down to the last tiny burner on my stove a couple days before Thanksgiving.

Purchased as a replacement to my prior downdraft GE that fan knob broke off on- obsolete parts and age. Not a fan of the control knobs being in the middle- makes it difficult to clean and maintain and I worry about the breaking in that location again

Looks great.
It is a beautiful range top, but NONE OF THE BURNERS WORK AT ALL. They do not even get warm.
The red light is on and the down-draft fan works, but that is all.
If you can send me one that works, I will rate it a 5 STAR.
Right now it is a BIG ZERO.
