Fantastic cook top
We love the spaciousness of the cook top. Our previous cook top was also a 36" size, but the burner were much more compacted. We also love the fact that this unit came with a griddle. We like the lights under the knobs to signify that a burner is on. This is helpful if you have a pot on low, and can not see the flame. Also we bought this specifically for the lock out feature to prevent our grandchildren, or even our counter surfing puppy from accidentally turning on the gas.

Impressive safety features and more!
We were so happy with our last GE Profile that we replaced it with the same model. We love the upgrades from our previous model like the griddle and the simmer features. We also like the LED backlights that show when a switch is turned on. We had to have the lock control switch for added safety. We cannot wait to cook a big breakfast!

Perfect for my needs
I got to fully use my new stovetop at Thanksgiving. All burners worked great! Love the extra large one. I like the sturdy grates because we had some very heavy pots. Easy to wipe the spills. Also with gkids running around I could turn off gas. So far- I’ve really enjoyed it

Just Short of Perfection.
Intelligently laid out controls maximize grate space, while still making it obvious which knob controls which burner. The knobs are good quality, and the illumination is a nice touch. The tri-ring burner is great. And I LOVE the rubber bumpers that keep the grates in place and prevent those horrible metal on metal scrapping/clanging noises you get on other cooktops. My only complaint is that the labels for the knobs are just painted on. Those will be gone in a few years of normal cleaning. They really need to be inlayed or recessed in some way to protect them from the inevitable abrasive scrubbing that cooktops require. This is a top of the line product that should still look like a top of the line product in a few years, but won't because of the scrubbed off labelling.

Beautiful stovetop, well made, heavy. High-heat burner, great for quickly heating foods or bringing water to a boil. There's no need to wait for an element to heat, so you won't have to adjust the dials as frequently. And the gas knobs light up when a burner is on! What a nice touch.

Love it love it love it! Gas is always a plus, but this stove top has a nice griddle that’s not only the center narrow strip but a full 1/3 of the side that’s removable perfect for pancakes and other breakfast makings. The middle extra strong/large burner is great for stirfrys and larger pots for boiling. Highly recommend 1000%!

Excellent cooktop with commercial/industrial/professional styling that looks great in the kitchen. Super-burner with high output is great for high-heat cooking needs. Grates that cover the entire cooking area make it easy to move pots from burner-to-burner. Illuminated knobs are also helpful to remind user that burners are (still) on. Plus, the griddle feature is “icing on the cake!”

Nice to have alot of room on the burners, after items are cooked a can add additional dishes on the back to keep warm. The griddle is wonderful, a little heavy, but it cooks great grilled cheese sandwiches and outstanding pancakes.
