nicely designed, has all the features that i am looking for, including a basic simple to understand thermostat, and no complicated features. Heater supplies supplies plenty of hot water, its just there with nothing to maintain or monitor. This is the only brand that i have seen that makes exactly what i was looking for in a hot water heater,and GE makes reliable appliances

It's a hot water tank
I've only had this for a month, and it is the first time I've ever bought a water heater. The one I had to compare it to, was over 20 years old. That being said, this appliance has some big shoes to fill. It is more efficient than the one it replaced, just due to the age and the condition of my old one.

Different than gas
Getting used to transition from gas to electric water heater. Don't regret my decision but the reheating times are different. Looking forward to the reduction in my overall bill

Problems
We have thermostat set higher than recommended setting. Manufacturer says 135 degrees. We have it at 150 degrees. Water is just hot enough for a shower. Can not get super hot water without raising above suggested setting. This is extremely concerning. Been going back and forth with seller to have it checked. Would not recommend.

Not thrilled and won’t buy again
Had to turn it up to 135 degrees to get two showers it won’t hold a steady temperature throughout a shower we need to add more hot water until done in the shower
On the bright side, it doesn’t leak
