Better than a table, don't have to mount on wall.
I bought a 43" TV. It was too big to fit in my existing entertainment center. A table/stand was too low, and I didn't want to mount the TV on the wall. The TV shelf stand was just right, the TV is at the right height and swivels. Assembly took awhile, but directions were good and I completed the build without any major problems.
