Exactly what I needed!

Easiest Cam Ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a while to take the Nest Cam out of its box. I was not looking forward to the inevitable hassle of hooking it up and getting it to work. If only I had known! When I finally bit the bullet, I was astounded. It was perhaps the easiest set-up I have ever experienced! It connected right up to my Wi-Fi network and started working within minutes. The video quality is fantastic. I love that it has a "familiar face" feature. Pulling up the video from your phone is incredibly simple. You can even speak into your phone and have your voice come out of the camera! You are able to rotate the camera in various directions. It even allows a certain period of recording so that you can go back and watch something that happened hours ago. Overall, I am in love with this device!

The camera covers a wide space in our main living area. We are currently in the middle of a remodel and the camera has made it easy for us to check on the progress while we are away from home.

It is packed with many useful features.This Google nest indoor camera performs very well and the initial setup and installation is super easy and quick.Just download the Google home app,add the camera using set up device option, scan the QR code ,just enter your Wifi information and setup complete.First of all I loved the sleek design of this camera,it looks great.The wide-angle lens is the best I’ve seen in terms of clarity and coverage. I love that it has two-way audio.The picture clarity is impressive and even in low light, you get a very clear picture. Night vision shows good images and day time images are crisp and clear. You can check the live feed any time through Google home app.microphone is extremely good that picks up the smallest noise across a room. The motion sensing is very sensitive and reliable.Notifications is very fast ,camera sends the notifications when it hear any sound.Camera came with the screw which can be used to mount it on the wall or simply you can put it at your preferred place.It provide 3 hours rolling window,you can check up-to 3 hours back video and if you wants to add the memory and wants to see/save more old video,you can go for Nest Aware subscription with a nominal fee which help you to get up-to 60 days of video history. I'm blown away by how much value is packed into this device-Easy setup,Night vision is excellent,Motion Detection and alarm,tilting and zooming,3 hours video history and lot more.I would definitely recommend this camera to everyone..

Great Camera

Great little camera all the way around
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wired Google - Nest cam is just a really solid product all the way around. It’s clean and well built, sturdy and functional. The base is heavy and strong and allows the camera to be rotated into pretty much any position you need it. It is able to be wall-mounted easily with two screws and minimal effort. The video quality is very good (it’s not premium 4K quality like your TV, but it’s 1080p which is perfectly fine for it’s purpose) and I was able to clearly make out people’s faces, cars, etc. The audio was good and functional as well as the speaker built into the camera that can let you speak in real-time to the subjects in the video feed. This is my first venture into the cam world. I don’t have or use the original Nest so I had no compatibility issues and I found the Google Home app that you use to manage and view your content to be simple and easy. Speaking of easy, setup was also very easy using the QR code included in the box. It connected to my WiFi quickly and without issues and there’s an indicator light to let you know various statuses. For me, the 3 hours of content it will allow you to view without a paid monthly subscription is sufficient for my purposes at this time, with the option to purchase more storage and options like continuous 24/7 recording. You can’t view the content on PC and it’s only viewable on a Google device or your phone, which isn’t an issue for me. Overall, Google just does a good job making a good product that’s easy to use in this wired Google - Nest cam.

Great Camera With a Solid App.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Google's smart home integration has been my platform of choice, so the quick and seamless integration of this camera has been a breeze. Video quality is great both in well lit situations and when the IR kicks on at night. The audio it records is clean and clear which makes it easy to communicate using the microphone. Unlike some of the other cameras I have tried, 2-way talking is no problem at all. Event notifications and zone monitoring work great and connecting to the camera is super quick through the Google Home app. Overall this is the best experience I have had with a home camera and plan to add it to my arsenal of other Google devices.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my nest camera to keep a eye on my house when I’m gone and also as a way to check in on my 5 month old puppy.
The camera works great and is easy to install and set up. I decided not to attach it to the wall at this time and place it on my hutch.
Set up took me less than 5 mins. The instructions included are simple and user friendly following the app.
I have a google tv so I was able to add the camera into my network.
Picture quality is better than I expected. I could really see all the details in the room with in camera view. The frame was large enough to really encompass most of my living room with a good quality picture.
I like that there is a light that turns on to alert that recording is in process. There is also storage available in case I need to look up an incident.
As far as appearance, I think Nest knocked it out of the park. It’s a sleek design in a small package. It doesn’t have an intrusive appearance as it is able to blend in with the surroundings as needed. I appreciate that because I don’t want to have to display it like a decoration.

Google Nest Indoor Cam
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Google Nest Indoor Cam. It was very easy to add to my app since I have the outdoor Nest camera. It is crystal clear quality and sound. I have it in our family room and use it when I leave the house to check on my older sons (helps with finding out who did what haha). The battery life saves longer when it isn’t constantly recording. It is sleek looking and easy to set up!

Great to wire for baby monitoring!

We just moved into a two-story home for the first time, and the extra distance is made easier because we can always see their monitor on our phones. Oh, technology! And hopefully it's more reliable long term than these cheap baby monitors with horrible pixelation.

Works great for keeping any eye on the inside of the house while you’re not home or just have a bigger house and need some extra eyes in different rooms! The only issue I’ve noticed is that the picture quality isn’t the greatest but other than that it’s great! Has night vision as well so you’re protected 24hrs a day! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great little camera. The video and audio quality are amazing. The camera is small and can go just about anywhere as long as there is a plug nearby. It does need to be plugged in to operate, but the power cord is about 10 feet long so it's not much of an issue. I would rather plug it in than have to deal with charging batteries anyhow :) The night vision is excellent as well, you can see everything perfectly. The features in the Google Home app are great. You can remotely view your camera from anywhere, set up routines so the camera is only active when you're not home, set up multiple "zones" with independent notifications per zone, facial recognition, 2-way audio, the list goes on and on. It's a great system and I'm truly happy with the quality of the camera itself, its video & audio, and the features in the Google Home app. Great job, Google!

Simple & Easy to Use!

The setup is easy and it is nice that this can be used even without a subscription. For our needs which are fairly basic, this has been a great indoor camera. Additionally, it is sleek and doesn't stand out in a room.

Keep an eye on the kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have two young boys (5 and 1) who destroy everything in the house so this nest cam is a godsend to monitor those two highly active kids. It was simple to install and has tremendous picture quality. The camera is small and has sturdy base to stand on. You can mount it on wall with the screws provided. It’s nice to have the ability to view the camera from your phone or tablet. I am satisfied with the night vision as well as how it recognizes faces, pets, and vehicles all pretty accurately. The two-way audio works great and is very crisp and clear. By connecting it to an app on your phone and you can monitor the area in which you have the camera placed any time. Overall, this was an easy item to set up and use and the pictures and audio it provides are of high quality.

Exactly what I needed for new home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just recently purchased a new home in a neighborhood that is still under construction and we have lots of construction going on around us which means constant workers coming in and out of our road and right beside our house on both sides. I wanted to put up a camera on the side that my office is on because that’s what gets the most foot traffic from random people and they have had some issues with appliances getting stolen out of some of these homes that are currently unoccupied so this has gave me some piece of mind. The main thing for me is setup and the ease of use and you can’t really get any simpler then this. It has a QR code sticker on the camera and all you do is scan for it to walk you thru setup which takes about 3 minutes. Something I didn’t realize it did but it does the facial recognition like our nest doorbell and also senses carbon monoxide and smoke detectors. Camera quality is very good as well (see photo) plan on grabbing another for the back deck as well!

It walked me through downloading the Google Home app and then just scan the QR code and it walks you through all the steps. This is high quality made, 1080p HD with night vision HDR, phone alerts about important activity, HD talk and listen, protects your privacy with two step verification and video encryption and easy set up in minutes. The quality of the video is great and the user experience is really user friendly. The two way audio works great and very crisp and clear. You simply connect it to an app on your phone and you can monitor the area in which you have the camera placed anytime. The picture and sound quality is amazing. The cord is long so placement is
highly flexible without an extension cord. Night time vision and video quality is also great, the faces are clear. The notification works great when a person is shown on the camera while the phone with the google home app is away. I can open the app remotely and watch live or history.

It walked me through downloading the GoogleHome app and then you just scan the QR code and it walks you through all the steps. The quality of the video is great and the user experience is really smooth. One thing to note is that you cannot use the Nest app (if you have older cameras and are used to that app). You have to use the GoogleHome app, but once you get used to it, it’s very easy. Really happy to have this camera to help keep an eye on things.
