The installation process was very straightforward and easy, even for people who are not tech-savvy. The camera quality is exceptional, and the app connectivity has been seamless and reliable.
One of the things I appreciate most about this product is its motion detection feature. It accurately detects any movement around my front door and immediately sends me an alert, allowing me to see who is at my door or if there is any suspicious activity happening outside.

Amazing Futuristic Doorbell

As a homeowner, I was looking for a doorbell that not only looked good, but also provided added security and convenience. The design is sleek and modern design that complements the exterior of my home. It's small and unobtrusive so it doesn't get too much attention from a distance. It has been excellent for with the HD video quality being crystal clear and the built-in motion detection alerts me whenever someone approaches my front door, even if they don't press the doorbell. The two-way audio feature works flawlessly. Amazing security product, totally worth it.

Clear Video
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1st office was very easy for me to install. The instructions were clearly written and with no hardware background I was able to install it myself. It clearly shows objects moving from a far away distance very clearly cars and people. It actually looks pretty nice on my house also. It's not big and chunky and ugly it has a slim line and very modern looking. I am very pleased with this item.

Great upgrade to older video doorbell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded my older video doorbell to the 2nd generation Nest doorbell and it is fantastic. It's hardwired, so I used the existing doorbell wiring and it only took me a few minutes to install. Setup was also a breeze in the Google Home app. The camera has pretty wide view and is quite clear, even at night. It does come with 3 hours of free event recording, but I opted for the annual subscription to get access to continuous recording and history. Overall, this is a great product if you're looking for a hardwired video doorbell.

Great Door Bell!

It gives you alerts for package delivery, vehicles, people and even critters roaming around the house. It has night vision and a 3 hour video playback, but you can purchase a plan to have more video playback. The camera system is nice and clear! I also like that I can talk to the person at my door. Great product!

Then I set up the app on my phone, connected the doorbell and it works. I like that it records movement at my front door, I can see who is there and when a package was left. And it works like a normal doorbell too. It's a great doorbell. Perfect for a busy family.

It is easy to install and connects right up to your existing wiring so doesn't require any charging. It will store up to 3 hours of event video and you don't even need a subscription. A quick, easy way to monitor any traffic at the front door. I highly recommend!!

Easy set up

All I had to do was remove the doorbell button on my existing doorbell and plug those wires in and screw it on. Very easy installation for a smart device. Most of them are much more complicated. I also love the integration to the nest web of products. They all work really well together.

Love our nest!

Now we have this awesome doorbell camera that can connect and use the same platform (google home) and it’s super user friendly! We love the clear lens/excellent quality out our front door. It’s wired so I don’t have to bother with charging or changing batteries . The video quality I refeive on my google device . I also have it in my phone so I know when I get my deliveries . Although I did not use the subscription but I got 10 days free of subscription. Vision and picture at night without light is also very good. I could actually see a deer come in to eat my plants at night . Set up was also easy and instructions provided is pretty clear .

Feeling Safer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with my Google Nest wired doorbell/camera. Previously, I had a wi-fi camera mounted above my front door. It would alert me if a person was on or approaching the front porch, but it also went off for birds and garbage trucks. I like that the Google Nest doorbell can distinguish between a person, a car or an animal. Also, a very nice option is that you are not required to get a subscription. You an see three hours of free event video doorbell history with the Google Home app. You do need a free Google account to access it. There are more benefits and a longer range of recordings up to 30 days if you do decide to get the subscription service. My son was able to follow the installation directions to set it up. My wi-fi camera had to be recharged every few months. This Nest doorbell replaced my wired doorbell and never has to be recharged. It was compatible with my chimer and transformer. You can purchase these separately if yours is not compatible. I feel more secure now that I am using this Nest doorbell.

Highly recommended

Protection and Visibility

The Google nest allows me to remotely access the camera and view guests as they stop bye I am able to see package deliveries. And it does deter any unwelcome guests. Having this device wired means I no longer have to search for batteries or worry about recharging. I can have constant security.

Great features and convenient!

It’s wired in so I don’t have to worry about replacing batteries or anything and I had my boyfriend take care of that (I’m not very handy). So if you live on your own and you’re not good with tools, this may not be for you since installing will be difficult. But I love it! And it works well with other nest devices too!

The motion detection is awesome, it records any activity in the camera view, and I can also answer and talk through this Nest Doorbell! and the best thing is that I don't need subscriptions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy this new doorbell from Google. The new v2 from nest is really nice specially if you already have a Google home. I got the wired one. It’s really good. It took a hour to hook it up and another 30 in setup, but it’s worth it. I’m happy I got this, really like it more than the ring cam and I think it’s the way to go.

Great camera quality, easy install!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is honestly so much better than my Ring doorbell that I had before. This loads twice as fast, and the image quality is very good. Also, the Google home app works much better than the ring app. I like the fact that you dont have to get a subscription too.
The biggest change of this from the ring is that this has package alerts, face recognition, and it alerts you basically right away when someone walks on the porch. Theres no delay like I had with the Ring.
I highly recommend this if you are looking for an upgrade or just wanting to get a doorbell camera for extra security.
